"You saw how your actions affected myself, your brother, and Ave. Because of them, its going to be hard to get any of us to smile for a while. But it might happen one day." Pic stood up. "Let's find you a room, and that way you can rest."

Pic guides the kid through the process of choosing a room at the front desk, and then leads him through the many hallways of the clinic. Finally, they come to rest at the kid’s room. 
 

“Alright, this is our stop,” Pic says, gesturing to the door. “Anytime you want a break, want to relax, or just time to yourself, use this space.” Leading the kid inside, Pic smiles. “It is getting late, so stay in here for the night, and tomorrow, we will get breakfast and figure out what you need. Sound good?”

There is a flash of light and an armed group of guards appears around Akarui. “You have been caught breaking code 264828372-BΓ. Stand down.” On of the guards says, stepping forwards.

The guards do not know the universal surrender pose. “SHE’S ATTACKING! REMOVE THE DEMON!!!!!!”

The guards aim and fire strange spear-like weapons. The shoot out a sustained beam of light, which attaches to her. Then it begins pulsing away from her body, trying to drain her of energy, both in the physical and magical.

Okay, I’m telling you this in confidence that the guards/Seizer can NOT tell. This is actually a tangible illusion/clone, she is invisible nearby

Again, they do not know this and there’s no way for them to tell until the illusion drops

She was no longer invisible, but layered another illusion to look like a guard. She nodded. The heck is that?

“You have no idea what I’m talking about, do you.” The guard sighs. “Why does no one pay attention during training.”

“The hive charge. It’ll replace her mind and connect it to the hive. There should be a needle on your tool belt. That’ll be it. We’ll stick her with it before we send her off.”

Rui did as she instructed, and it seemed to the guards to work exactly as intended. However, since the guard outfit, and hence the charge, as well as the Rui they’d captured, were illusions, nothing really happened.

They arrived at their destination soon enough. A large, dark iron room. In one wall there was a stone embedded into it. It glowed with an eerie light. 
“Activate the multiversal portal.” The man in charge said gruffly.
