She blinked, her face calm. “I brought your staff, but I accidentally dropped it to catch you.” A small smile touched her face. “You’re safe now.”

"No! It's a trick!" He squarms away and tries to attack Kano who summons a watermelon in self defense knocking Almond out. "Oops. Umm, I think he'll be fine. Probably." Without the rage to sustain it Almond's fur leeches back to normal.

She stroked his fur and looked at Pic, Elan, and Lundyn. “We need to get home.”

Draping Almond over her shoulder, she summoned her dagger. She cut a rift in the wall. “You’re welcome to come too,” she said to the guard.” They walked through into Aventine’s room. The bathroom door had been fixed.
