Pic stared in awe at the vastness of the library. Shelves went as far as the eye could see, and then some. Each shelf was filled with books and with knickknacks and jars of...things. There had to be so much here!

Aventine walked over to a shelf and grabbed five of the books. She skimmed their pages, looking for something that would be helpful.

She shook her head. "We have that dagger thing. How to travel is figured out - we need to figure out how to seal off a planet."

She stopped skimming and read the page in more detail.

While it is possible to seal off a dimension in its entirety, doing so requires much energy, and very few beings throughout the history of the multiverse have been able to do so. Beings of such power went to great lengths to hide their abilities from those who would benefit from stealing them and misusing them. See Chapter 19 in A History of Creation.
