"Um..." the girl paused, then nodded. "Right this way, my Lady." She started walking towards the mansion.

Tal lead him into a room that looked, well, calm. Several nurses were bustling about. One walked over to them, and Tal explained about the taint. 

"Okay," the nurse said. "If you want us to do this, and it sounds like you do, then let's get this done!"

The inquisitor was swinging it hard, and it snapped. As it did, another inquisitor came up behind.

The inquisitor stumbled, but stayed standing. Then he flicked out a coin, and it shot towards Jar Man’s chest. 

The girl led her to an office, then knocked. There was no answer. “Um. He…must be out.”

“I’m sorry about that,” Tal said. “But I promise, that’s not what we do here. You’re welcome to stay as long as you like, but no one’s forcing you to stay.”

TAAron steeled himself, then tried to focus. The light around his hand, that which was not holding Rue's, flared to violet. A burst of glowing energy, like a wave, shot through the air and hit the inquisitor.

I guess you can decide how much it hurts him, depending on how difficult you want to make this. It should be pretty powerful, though.

The inquisitor fell back, crumpling to the floor. A huge chunk of its side was missing, and it tried to stand without success. The other one looked much warier, and shot a wave of coins at TAAron and Rue.

Rue’s eyes widened. She felt her heart pounding, and closed her eyes, reaching for the power again…she was so close…

One of the inquisitors pulled out a small vial and tipped it down Aventine’s throat, then turned back to Jar Man.

"Thank you."

She then proceeded to break through the door, knocking it (mostly) off it's hinges.

"You may leave now."

A pulse. Look for a pulse.

Right. She had powers.

If he isn't here, you don't need to deal with him.

She could sense the waves. She could tell where they were.

She knew.

Jar man grins as the blood dripped from him. Then he spoke a word, and the blood became spikes, and hurtled at the inquisitor.

The inquisitor threw up an arm just in time, keeping the spikes from hitting its face. It grimaces and pushes the rest of the coins at Jar Man, aiming mostly for his chest and shoulders.
