The two had never been fond of each other, seeing as they were from rival houses, but she still wished she hadn't died.

"That's not what I asked," DG Pic said. "I'm aware." She didn't want to relive it yet. DG Pic raised an eyebrow, but didn't continue the conversation. Clearly something happened, but it left a negative impact. I'll give it some time, then try to figure it out later. After a bit of walking and a change of guard, the two set him down.
