"I gave her ample time to react. Besides, my healing, my rules." Melody narrowed her eyes, and spoke in a more firm voice. "I don't care. It's not unconditional healing. I've healed two people so far in this clinic, don't start thinking it'll happen again."

Rue frowned, somehow managing to look happier. "All...right then." Enough people were at the gate that they were waved through without any trouble.
