Reelwiron attacked from behind, putting an impressive burst of strength into it. His intent matched Cloud's with an almost remarkable aptitude; whether they had truly attuned to one anothers' Presence, or just by sheer luck, the timing was excellent. But intent was still intent, and distance was something these Jedi had yet to conquer. Their pace was sluggish compared to the true potential that the Force offered.

Funnily enough, it was the one called Master Feisyyd who picked up on the gambit a moment too slow. Krarik's blade had already flipped into motion before she heaved a powerful Force Push against him, which ultimately saved the child: Nayla was wrested from his grasp, but he still felt the beam slash against her face somewhere. Her scream meant it was far from superficial, but she was still very much alive.

The second blade whipped up around it; not to deflect Reelwiron's strike, but to send a full offensive counterattack. If the Jedi wanted to land that attack, he'd have to take one of his own.

Reelwiron, sees the blade flashing towards him, his own blade still flying past the Sith, he was appalled at his aim, and anger fuelled his reactions, as he realised the sith had just swiped Nayla in the face, and with a massive pull, pulls his lightsaber towards himself and the Sith, and pushing at the Sith himself, hoping to ward of the attacks long enough to get his lightsaber back.

Nayla had crumpled into a ball, shivering now. She tried to say something, but couldn't; instead, she remained as still as she could, completely relying on everyone else now.

Master Feisyyd's first attack struck nothing, as Krarik vanished once again into the mists. He'd been standing still, but almost instantaneously returned to full speed as he exited just behind her from a pillar's shadow. She twisted on her heel and struck with both sabers, each meeting one of his own as they swung through the air.

Not a moment could be spared in the following seconds. Krarik went in and out of his Shadow Step in rapid succession, weaving strike after strike from every direction, always vanishing before she could find the opportunity to strike back. Her senses and Perception expanded to something of a sphere of influence, giving her just enough time to deflect each attack; he was relentless, leaving dozens of opportunities to finally finish her off.

The flashes of green, white, red, and black were nearly indistinguishable. It looked more akin to a flurry of lights than a duel between Force-wielders.

Cloud stayed with Nayli, continuing to heal the cut. He was agonizingly slow at it, but that was better then nothing.

After awhile, he thought he caught the hang of it, and the regenerations speed increased a little.

"It's okay Nayli, you're gonna be okay."

They were running too low on time. Yes, making it to noon would seriously hinder this Assassin, but with how efficiently he remained holding his own... they might not even be capable of defeating him then.

She finally began to ask herself the question of last resort: could he even be defeated?

"I know, but it won't hurt forever, you can be strong right? for Feisydd."

The cut continued to close slowly.

"You will not hurt anyone else" Reelwiron snarls at the Sith. "Your time on this planet is done as well."

This time, he appeared just behind Reelwiron, blade already halfway through a strike.

"STOP" Pucky yelled. He swung at the sith.

Reelwiron feels him go behind him, his lightsaber still coming towards him , just out of his reach, he embraces the anger within him, and clarity comes to him, and senses shadows nearby. He feels panicked but accepts his fate as the blade swings towards him.

Is this OK, I can change it if you want

A blade slashed up at Pucky's chin, then moments later vanished with Krarik.

He reappeared inches away, turned about, to send another barrage of black and red at the assailants.

"...I don't want to fight."

I like the idea, but that's not really how the ability works. The shadows themselves aren't special or anything; Krarik just has a unique ability that allows him to use them for sorta-teleportation.

"I know, but this isn't of matter of what we want, this is a matter of what we have to do. This Sith . . . he's going kill us all. Fighting is the only thing we can do, so we've got to do our best!"

Cloud couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Where did you get the idea that I'm brave? I've been terrified this whole time! And anyway, whoever said you had to be brave to fight back?"

"I- I think."

Cloud had never really done the pep talk thing before.

The cut on Nayli's cheek was almost closed now.

Red, white, black, green; all flashed across their faces as the sun neared its apex.

"I just said, it doesn't matter what you want right now. We're all going to die!"

He looked up at the sky the time had almost come.

"Listen, in a minute we'll be able to attack the Sith without him turning into mist- that's our chance to survive this, and everyone here is counting on you to help out! Every body has to do the best they can if we want to get out of this alive!"

Meanwhile, Krarik had begun to more rapidly zip in and out of shadow. The casts were shortening.

"...Are you going to leave?"

"Well not right now, obviously, but uh . . ."

"Do- do you want me to stay?"

"I think you're nice. I'm glad I met you."

The Assassin was growing furious. Feisyyd could feel it now - somehow, he actually seemed a little unhinged. Weakness had crept into his mind.

"And Aria is too."

He thought he'd have defeated us by now... this wasn't a part of his plan.

"She always said nobody should be lost; so she's happy you found us."

Six strikes; both blades, thrice. A flurry of whirling light. Feisyyd matched with a cavalcade of her own, barely matching her breathing to the obscene ferocity of his movements. If his attacks stayed like this... no. They couldn't win. Not at this rate.

Of course three days hadn't been enough. It could never have been enough.

Cloud suddenly felt a wonderful warmth inside him. When was the last time he had felt like that?

"I . . . I'm happy I found you too!"

He stood up, her cut was all healed now.

"So, we should go help Feisydd! I can't loose you guys after just having met you!"

He ignited his lightsaber, and rushed into the battle, swinging at Krarik.
