Channelknight Fadran Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 (edited) Quote Hi there, hello, and welcome to the Star Wars RP that I've been craving some some reason! We decided 2:1 that it would take place during the Galactic Cold War, which I am of course delighted by. For those of you who don't want to go digging through the lore like I did, here's the rundown: The year is 3654 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin - i.e. "before the movies"). A few years ago (3681 BBY), a war had broken out between the Galactic Republic (allied with the Jedi Order) and the Sith Empire (allied with the Mandalorians). The Sith eventually won out in this conflict, and forced the Republic into the infamous Treaty of Coruscant in 3653. By now the Sith have annexed two-thirds of the entire galaxy, and are steadily working to conquer more. Meanwhile, the Jedi have fallen back to the planet Tython at the Galactic Core. The Order had officially been exiled by the new Sith Empire, but only left Coruscant after the Galactic Senate accused them of inciting the conflict in the first place. The Grand Master of the Jedi Order is Satele Shan, who was appointed to the position almost out of desperation. The head of the Sith Empire is a man known as Tenebrae. Little is known about him (to our characters, anyway). He is supported by many wielders of the Dark Side of the Force, but most elite are his twelve members of the Dark Council. In proper Cold War fashion, no large-scale conflicts have yet to break out. However, dozens of skirmishes and violent acts of rebellion have been scattered throughout the galaxy: the Jedi High Council advises their Order not to become involved, but many still yearn to join the battle. There's a fixed canon for what happens during this conflict, but who cares? We're gonna do our own bloody story. All that matters in terms of canon is the context. I'm going to start by posting all the character sheets from the Interest thread, but feel free to drop in if you haven't already. You can even play more than one character if you like - because I certainly am. Spoiler Channelknight Fadran: Master Aria Feisyyd & Padawan Nayla Lithan Spoiler Spoiler Name: Aria Feisyyd Race: Pantoran Age: 31 Physical Traits: Their deep blue skin is contrasted by stark silver hair and bright green eyes. She has face tattoos but to be honest I haven't decided what they look like yet. Spoiler Rank: Master Lightsaber: She has wielded the same green blade for decades now. Mastered Forms: Form VI (Niman), Form II (Makashi) Proficient Forms: Forms I, III, IV, & V Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Cleanse Mind, Force Harmony / Enlightenment / Valor, Truthsense Proficient Abilities: Mind Trick, Revitalize / Heal / Detoxify, Force Light Personality: One with the Force - she finds satisfaction in many things. Backstory: She never tends to say. Few remember her own master, who was killed by a bounty hunter when she was just eleven. She has been offered a place on the Jedi Council several times, but has declined each in favor of nurturing her padawans. Other: Some speculate that she has achieved the highest form of Enlightenment in the Light Side of the Force - but those who know whether or not for sure prefer to keep the knowledge quiet. Spoiler Name: Nayla Lithan Race: Mirialan Age: 14 Physical Traits: I drew her! And then messed around with hue sliders until this happened: Spoiler Also her skin is a dark-ish green. Rank: Padawan under Master Feisyyd Lightsaber: Currently wields a single blue blade Mastered Forms: Form I (Shii-Cho), Form III (Soresu) Profiicent Forms: Form V (Shien / Djen So), Form VI (Niman) Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Environmental Sensitivity Proficient Abilities: Mind Trick, Truthsense, Force Stun / Stasis Personality: A quiet and sweet girl who cares about her friends. She hopes to become just like Master Feisyyd when she grows up. Backstory: The details are fuzzy, but she has faint memories of screams and pleading from someone familiar. She was not raised on Planet Mirial, but it's still just as easy to find her world of origin in the outer rim, charred completely black from the war. Other: Likes dying her hair sometimes! If she feels comfortable around someone then she'll let them do it. Ravenclawjedi: Master Rajib Quadradu Spoiler Name: Rajib Quadradu Race: Human (Alderaanian) Age: 74 Physical Traits: Small amount of grey hair, large nose, light skin, has wrinkles. Rank: Master Lightsaber: Green crossguard lightsaber they have had since they were eleven Mastered Forms: I III VI Proficient Forms: II, V Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Very skilled at using the Force to sense for individuals within a given area, similar to Life Sense from Warbreaker) Proficient Abilities: They have some level of proficiency in pretty much all commonly used force abilities among Jedi, due to having spent so long in the order, but in recent years got much worse in abilities that use physical strength. Personality: Nerdy, Scholarly, reads a lot Backstory: Born on Alderaan and brought to the Jedi Temple as an infant, as a knight he was drawn into the Great Galactic War despite his hatred of fighting while training a Padawan, Kranchaanu (a wookie), then during the Cold War became a librarian-type person on Tython Other: Uses they/them pronouns, their biggest weakness is probably knowledge, and would do a lot to gain new knowledge, has some problems with trusting others after their friend betrayed them during the Great Galactic War. Justice_Magician: Cloud Spoiler Name: Cloud Race: Torguta (I promise he's different from Ahsoka don't sue me) Age: 21 (Wookiepedia doesn't mention them aging any different than humans-- so I'm making this assumption) Physical Traits: Instead of trying to explain his complicated markings I did a doodle: Spoiler As for clothing goes, just typical star wars "Brown and grey outfit that looks hardcore and has a handy belt for carrying your gadgets" Rank: N/A (akin to an experienced Padawan, like Anakin in AotC) Lightsaber: Blue Mastered Forms: Ataru Proficient Forms: Shii-Cho Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Mind tricks, Mind tricks, and more Mind Tricks Proficient Abilities: the "speed running," floating stuff, basic push and pulls Personality: Very optimistic, kinda dumb, stis a comfortable chaotic good Backstory: He grew up on a remote moon that either hadn't heard of the "Jedy" or didn't care. Currently, he travels from planet to planet, using his force abilities to do magic shows and scam people. He found a lightsaber half-off at a pawn shop and bought it because he thought it looked cool. Thankfully, his father ran the moon's small police force, and trained Cloud with normal swords so he does know how to use it. Does his law-abiding parents know about the pretend-magician-scam-artist-cause-a-guys-gotta-eat-gig? The short answer is nope. The long answer is also nope. Other: He's mastered mind tricks to help with his magician act, he uses them on people frequently and 85% of the time gets away with it. He doesn't really understand the force and insists it's witchcraft (though obviously he knows it doesn't do most of the stuff he scams people into thinking it does). Decent at flying spacecraft, not great at flying space craft. Scars of Hathsin - Padawan Reelwiron Kerbari Spoiler Name: Reelwiron Kerbari Race: Togruta Age: 16 Physical Traits: Red ringed Lekku Spoiler Rank: Padawan to Master Feisyyd Lightsaber(s): Cyan Mastered Forms: I, IV Proficient Forms: Jar'Kai Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Force Push, Pull, Jump, Time Slow(?) Other: A bit slow to trust, but extremely loyal to his friends. Ancient Elantrian - Padawan Rukk Udu Spoiler Name: Rukk Udu Race: Jawa Age: 16 Physical Traits: This Jawa looks like any other Jawa: about 1 meter tall, glowing yellow eyes. Unlike normal Jawas Rukk wears a completely white robe tied with a black rope. Spoiler Rank: Padawan Apprentice (an older one). Lightsaber(s): Two orange lightsabers daggers. Mastered Forms: Form I (Shii-Cho), because he can use it for defense. Proficient Forms: Form II (Makashi), He doesn’t like violence so he didn’t study any farther. Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Force Barrier, Force Stun, Uses the force to build things and take them apart. Proficient Abilities: Force Stasis, Force Meld (worst of all his abilities), force jump. Personality: Optimistic, cautious. Enjoys messing around with Tech (I mean, he’s a Jawa. What do you think he likes?) Backstory: His family was killed by Tusken Raiders. He was found in the wreckage, and brought to the Jedi temple. He decided to help stop things like that from happening, and dislikes violence a lot. Other: Freezes during fights often. He needs to learn to overcome fear. ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ - Pucky, Jedi Knight Spoiler Name: Pucky Race: Human Age: 29 Physical Traits: small, but well built. He has short hair, and dark green eyes. Rank: Jedi Knight Lightsaber(s): A green saber that matches his eyes. Also it is incredibly light. Mastered Forms: He isn’t really taught in forms he has his own. But he is fast. Other: not too good at much besides fighting and physical stuff. He can plan, but not good at stuff like flying. Bookwyrm - Yral Royalos Spoiler Name: Yral Royalos Race: Human(?) Age: ??? Physical Traits: He has a sturdy form, light brown skin, deep blue eyes, and pure white hair. He wears said hair short, but also has a fairly large beard. His face often holds little expression unless you know him well enough, which not many people do. He wears dark navy robes reminiscent of the Jedi, but still distinctly different. His belt has holsters for two lightsabers. Rank: Had he stayed in the order, he probably would have been a Master. Lightsaber(s) Yral has created a special modular lightsaber that he can customize as needed. (Yes, I'm ripping off Jedi: Survivor. No, I don't care.) His primary form is one he's created himself, filled with sudden shifts in stance and style designed to deceive and throw off opponents. A modular stance that grew out of the use of a modular lightsaber. Mastered Forms: Forms I, IV, V, Jar'Kai, and several other module-specific forms. Proficient Forms: Basically everything else; he's good at improvising. And has had a lot of time to learn. Force Abilities: I'm not going to put down everything he's mastered, but he's really good at using the Force, so he has a lot of abilities from across the spectrum. Specializes in unique abilities he's developed himself, or in ones he's learned in his studies. Also, keep in mind that while he fights the Sith in the name of balance, he isn't afraid to occasionally use the dark side as a tool. I will note, however, that he has a far stronger grasp of how the force interacts with space and time, which in certain situations will let him enter hyperspace using the Force alone. He also is able to use the force to affect things on a microscopic - or even atomic - level. (This simple summary is because I don't want to write out a list of all the things he can and can't do...because I don't have time to fall down a force-power rabbit hole right now.) Backstory: His homeworld was Naboo. From a young age, he was taken to train in the Jedi order. As he grew through his Padawan years, he grew dissatisfied with a few of the order's teachings, especially ones forbidding attachment. His master saw the conflict in him, and rather than trying to snuff his doubts out, she supported him in his dissatisfactions in the order, prompting him to follow the way the Force guided him. He left the order after becoming a Knight. Despite these dissatisfactions, he still has a good view of the order. Even after he left, he'd work with Jedi Knights, including his old master, as they worked to bring balance to the Force. He just went about it in a different way, sliding into the center of the spectrum. After he left the order and began exploring other sides of the Force, his interest grew. He started developing new abilities that weren't as broadly taught in the order, including some that bordered on the Dark Side. He also began exploring ancient ruins and hidden worlds, making it his life to find the secrets of the Force. On one distant world, he came across the secret of prolonging life; not infinitely, but for many times longer than he would normally live as a human. He began implementing the process, using the Force to slightly alter his cells, giving them a boost. His age is catching up, but he still has a long time to live. At one point, he started a family with another Force user outside of the Order. His wife perished in a Sith attack, though he was able to save the lives of his children. Now adults themselves, they work to bring the galaxy to peace, though none of them have had contact with their father in many years. Despite originally disagreeing with the Order's prohibition on personal attachment, he now has very little attachments himself. He's come to peace with himself, or so he thinks. He now has common contact with the Jedi order, and helps them in their war against the Sith and the Mandalorians. Other: He has a cool spaceship. Shard_Blades - Inger Ruslan Spoiler Name: Inger Ruslan Age: 14 Race: Whatever Yoda's species is Physical traits: Is only 70cm tall Rank: Padawan Lightsabers: Purple Lightsaber Mastered forms: I, II Proficient forms: IV Force abilities: Mastered abilities: Force pull, push, jump, levitating objects Proficient abilities: Seeing things before they happen Personality: He is very friendly, and trusts people a lot Backstory: Was found by the Jedi when he was 5, so has had lots of time to properly master lots of force abilities, taught to him by Jedi Knight's. Other: Has never actually been in a fight, has only practised on against other people, in friendly battles. I took a few liberties with a couple characters to make sure everything fit. Here's what I edited (lmk if anything needs to be changed): Cloud: I changed him from "Padawan" to "Padawan-level," as he isn't a member of the Jedi Order (to my knowledge, anyway) Pucky: Changed from Master to Jedi Knight, though to be honest I still think it's a little ambiguous. Does "Master, but never trained" mean that they were never trained, or that they had never trained a Padawan to knighthood? Either way I figured I'd give them the Ani treatment until that's cleared up. Character Sheet w/Helpful Links: Spoiler Name: (Fantasy Name Generator) Race: (Reddit lol) Age: (A standard year, also known more simply as a year or formally as Galactic Standard Year, was a measurement of time on the Galactic Standard Calendar, consisting of 368 standard days, with twelve months of at least 30 days each.) Physical Traits: (If I like your character I might eventually draw them) Rank: (Screenrant) (Reminder that I would like to have most of us be older-ish padawans or just apprentices in general - but do what you want) Lightsaber(s): (Wookiepedia - colors) (Reddit lol - color "meanings") Mastered Forms: (Reminder that Form VII probably hasn't been invented yet) Proficient Forms: (Reminder that everyone starts with Form I) Force Abilities: (There are a lot of ambiguously canon abilities) (But also feel free to take liberties, because I certainly will via p l o t) Mastered Abilities: Proficient Abilities: Personality: Backstory: Other: Blank Character Sheet: Spoiler Name: Race: Age: Physical Traits: Rank: Lightsaber(s) Mastered Forms: Proficient Forms: Force Abilities: Mastered Abilities: Proficient Abilities: Personality: Backstory: Other: Anyway, I had a lengthy exposition post made of equal parts incredible prose and tasteful exposition, but then the Shard friggin ate it - so for now this is what you get. @Ravenclawjedi42 @Justice_Magician @Scars of Hathsin @Ancient Elantrian @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ @The Bookwyrm Edited September 6, 2023 by Channelknight Fadran
Channelknight Fadran Posted August 26, 2023 Author Posted August 26, 2023 (edited) The ruins of Tython were perhaps more ancient than even many stars in the galaxy. The planet itself had seen eras before the first Force-wielders came into being. She wondered if the stones themselves held memories from ages before history itself even bore a name. Jedi Master Aria Feisyyd was meditating, surrounded by a circle of cracked and crumbling stone pillars wrought by some society long since forgotten. The shrines of the anient Je'daii were almost indistinguishable from the rest of the stones and trees that covered this worl, and with how many there were they might as well have been a piece of the landscape themselves. Not a day went by anymore that another one was found, ever-adding to the already frightening hundreds - thousands, soon, she predicted - of faceless, nameless shrines that covered the planet. Perhaps they were once the personal refuges to the ancient Je'daii - perhaps their culture were nomadic. But regardless of where they came, what they were supposed to be, and how plentiful they were, she found them to be unmistakably calm and conducive to a submission to the Force. This one looked no different than any others, but spoke to her regardless. It wasn't far from the old temple where those who remained had settled, but still a hike enough into the hills to leave the noise of engines and droids behind. The Council and their fellows knew: if Feisyyd was nowhere to be found, then she would be here. It resonated with the Force in a familiar sort of way... almost soothing, though not enough to bring a yawn to her voice. It was atop a hill, surrounded by trees and stones: in other words, unremarkable. But how the breeze carried through the leaves here to brush over her robes and hair, carrying with it the glittering pollens of fruits and flowers, and the cold and softly-overgrown stones bore her up comfortably yet steadily... it was unmatched in any other place she had found. Perhaps it was optimism that brought her to this way of thought. The Council had been direct and express in their intentions to bear the new persecutions lightly, but for once she found herself disagreeing. It had not, though the Senate might interject, been the Jedi's making that brought tyranny to the galaxy. It had not been them that rose and terroized the Republic for decades in the bloodiest war known to history. And it certainly had not been them that decided to abandon the once-peaceful systems to their eventual crumbling beneath the Sith Empire. And yet the Way of the Jedi called for patience and humility. It would not dirty its hands in dealing with the relentless tyranny of the Sith. "Master," Nayla said, "I don't believe those feelings to be the healing kind." Master Feisyyd did not break her stance, but replied regardless. "What is it that you sense?" "Is it... fear?" "Search deeper. Fear of what?" There was silence, then, "I'm not sure." "Think on it." She breathed slowly, deeply, and methodically. "I would like to hear your conclusion, when you come to it." Edited August 26, 2023 by Channelknight Fadran

Through the Living Elan He/Him Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Quote That is so disconcerting. Here we go… Rukk stood in a small field practicing with the force. He stretched out his hand and made a force barrier. He could use these to block bullets, fists, and even lightsabers. That wasn’t what he was practicing now. He walked over to the barrier, which he had made perpendicular to the ground. He tested it with his foot, then stepped up on it. It held his weight. Rukk took a deep breath and made another barrier, slightly higher than the one he was standing on. He stepped up onto it, and let go of the last one. He did this again and again, focusing on the barriers and keeping his mind completely clear. He reached the point where he was about 15 feet in the air. Then someone shouted at him. Rukk jumped and instinctively used the force to stun the person that had shouted. Unfortunately he also lost his focus, and the barrier fell away. He fell towards the ground, and hit it with a muffled thud. “Ow,” he said, standing up and dusting off his white cloak. He turned to the person that had yelled to him. It was an Ewok youngling, his name was Tamal Kinrim. He stood up, dazed from the force stun. “Master Bydal told me to get you for meditation.” The youngling said, stabilizing himself on a tree. Rukk sighed, but followed the Ewok through the trees. “That was a super cool thing you were doing there!” Tamal said. “I didn’t know Jedi could float! That’s super cool! And you also made my head act all weird! That’s awesome! How did you do that? I really want to learn all the force thing so I can be cool like you. Can you show me your lightsaber? Also, what’s under your hood? Why do your eyes glow? Have you ever flown a spaceship?” Goodness, did this kid ever stop asking questions? “You sure are a curious kid, aren’t you?” “That’s what Master Bydal calls me too. I just really want to know everything! Can you teach me to float?” “It wasn’t floating. I was standing on force barriers. And no, I can’t teach you. That’s a job for a master.” “Can you tell Master Bydal to teach me! All he does with us is meditation. It’s boooooring.” Rukk chuckled at the kids words. “Yes, I’ll ask him. Just be patient, meditation can help you feel in tune with the force. It can help you use it in different, even more awesome ways.” “Really?! Wow, I should really meditate harder!” “Yep, then you’ll be able to become a padawan even quicker.” “Yeah! And you can be my master and teach me everything!” Rukk paused. “Yeah. That.” “Rukk, do you have another droid?” Tamal asked. “The last one broke.” “You already broke it? I gave that one to you three days ago.” Rukk held out his hand, and Tamal sheepishly dropped the droid into it. Rukk pushed lightly on the parts with the force, and they lifted into the air, arranging themselves where they were supposed to go. “Looks like all the pieces are still here. You just… why is that piece dripping?” Rukk asked, noticing that a few pieces had drops of water falling from them. “I… flew it into a pool of water on accident.” Tamal said. Rukk sighed, and used his cloak to dry off the wet pieces. “Be more careful next time.” He began using the force to put the pieces back together, then saw the young Ewok staring, wide eyed. Rukk smiled, and then dramatically made the pieces spin around as they clicked together. When he finished Tamal clapped loudly, and Rukk took a bow. They reached the location that Rukk and Master Bydal would be meditating. Tamal bounced away, yelling “Thanks!” “He sure is an energetic one.” Master Bydal said to him, and Rukk turned to look at him. “Yeah.” Rukk said, sitting down cross legged in front of him. “He sure is.” Quote This is just to serve as an introduction to my character(s), it isn’t super important. 2
Scars of Hathsin he/him Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Reelwiron, meditated in the forests surrounding the compound in which the order occupied, trying to get away from the other padawan's and younglings, most of which were a lot younger than him. He struck out with his senses feeling the animals big and small which were nearby, and feeling the force flowing through everything, and very slowly started floating into the air, using a very gentle force push beneath him, and slowly pushing himself behind the coverage of leaves hanging from the trees. Slowly gathering rocks and making those flow around him with another series of pulls and pushes, he makes them circle around him, and still seeking out with the force detects some other force users nearby, and seemed to be able to catch a glimpse of what was happening. Including one person making a series of stairs with force barriers. Shutting out everything else he goes back to meditating, waiting for his master to finish, and maybe hopefully go do something else. 3
Ravenclawjedi42 Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 (edited) Rajib meditated. They felt the force all around them, connecting them to everything. He was the only soul in the Archives, everyone else went outside to meditate. Rajib never could focus outside. There, they felt life everywhere, their better-than-ordinary life-sensing abilities felt every blade of grass, every bird in the skies, making it near impossible to meditate. Though the physical barriers separating them from the outside helped with this somewhat, they could still feel little connections to other things out there. For all living things were connected, through the force. They primarily felt their own connections, tiny ones to inanimate objects, slightly larger ones to the books, their favorite inanimate objects, larger ones to plants such as the grass and trees outside, and the largest to their fellow Jedi meditating outside. One wasn’t, though, they thought, instead making…stairs out of force barriers? It always felt nice to see one’s place in the galaxy by feeling one’s connections to others. Yet today Rajib just couldn’t focus on meditating. They were certain there was nobody else in the archives, and so they allowed themselves to open one eye, then the other, and then rose from their chair. Technically all Jedi were supposed to meditate during this hour unless they had a good reason not to but…Rajib’s favorite author, Brrandeon Saandirsun, had just released a new book that Rajib was dying to read. In their mind, a very good reason not to meditate. Quote Yes, I took some inspiration from Bondsmiths for the sensing-others-with-the-Force thing. Edited August 28, 2023 by Ravenclawjedi42 1
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 The blue tunnel of hyperspace separated into a thousand streaks of light, which in turn snapped into the brilliant starscape of the galaxy. The planet Tython rushed into view, it's brilliant surface illuminating the cockpit of the Conduit. Yral Royalos changed a few more settings on the ship's system, preparing the ship for a landing. It had been some time since he visited the Jedi's planet of operations. He respected the Jedi in many ways; they were amazing people who did amazing work. Their order...just didn't suit him. Though without being a part of them in his youth, he likely wouldn't be where he was now. As Yral piloted the Conduit towards the main Temple complex, he basked in the feeling of the Force swirling around the planet. It was a fulcrum in the Force, a world teeming with life, and where the ambiguous energy could be felt in it's bright glory... Yral had seen many faces of the Force, but the Light Side always felt the most comforting to him. He signaled his arrival to the Temple as he entered the atmosphere. A voice on the other side confirmed his identity and directed him to a landing pad. He could make out the ruins scattering the planet as he traveled lower, eventually arriving at the main Temple, where many of the Jedi spent their time. He landed the Conduit on one of the outer landing pads bordering the Temple grounds, then began shutting off it's systems. As he disembarked, an Ithorian clad in brown Jedi robes walked up to him. An ornate silver lightsaber hung at their waist. "Yral Royalos," the Ithorian said, bowing. A translator near their two mouths transforming the unintelligible language into a soothing feminine voice. "How good it is to see you! The order welcomes you, as always." Yral smiled and bowed back. "It's good to be here, Master Iphira." "What brings you to Tython?" "I must meet with Master Feisyyd," Yral said, growing more serious. "There's a matter about the war I must discuss with her." Master Iphira nodded. "It might take me a while; while she is onworld, I am currently unaware of her location. You are free to wait in the temple until she is summoned." Yral thanked Iphira, who nodded and walked off. He stood there for a moment, relishing the feel of the Force around him. It has been too long. Then he followed Iphira towards the main temple. @Channelknight Fadran Quote I never got the chance to read the Wookiepedia article for Tython, so I'm taking some liberties in assuming there'd be a main Temple on the planet. Also, I'm assuming that Yral and Aria would have had interactions in the past, and be acquaintances. I have no idea what you have in mind for plot, so I'm just making something up. I still have no real idea what he's going to talk about with her. So yeah. 1
Channelknight Fadran Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 Spoiler 3 hours ago, Ancient Elantrian said: Rukk stood in a small field practicing with the force. “He sure is.” 2 hours ago, Scars of Hathsin said: Reelwiron, meditated in the forests surrounding the compound in which the order occupied, trying to get away from the other padawan's and younglings, most of which were a lot younger than him. 1 hour ago, Ravenclawjedi42 said: Rajib meditated. "It's nothing, master." She cracked a small smile. "I'm only wondering what Rukk might be doing today." Indeed, that was a question worth asking. "Something strange, I suppose." A presence emerged into the planet's conscience: they both felt it. Akin to any regular Jedi, but far more powerful - and shifted, it seemed, from the clear flow of the Order. For young Nayla it would be unfamiliar, but to Feisyyd... well. It was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. "Come, child." Feisyyd stood. "It's time I introduce you to Master Royalos."

Yral sat in the quarters Iphira had directed him to, fiddling with his lightsaber. Right now it was in a simple dual-blade mode, with the easy capability of splitting into two separate swords. There were several other configurations he could use, but he preferred the simple dual blade setup. It gave him three easy lightsaber types; single blade, dual blade, and dual wield, which was plenty of variety in the hands of someone who'd been training as long as him. He didn't need anything fancy. He removed the covers on each side of the hilt, revealing the white crystals inside. He'd killed a Dark Side user many years ago, on a distant world without a name...he'd healed those red crystals. Their bleeding stemmed, they reverted to a clear white color. He still kept his old green kyber crystal as a remembrance from his time in the order, though he hadn't gotten it from Illum like most younglings did. That was another long story. A knock sounded at his door. He quickly reassembled his saber using the Force, then stood to answer it. A young Mon Calamari girl, probably padawan age, stood at the door. "Master Royalos," she said, bowing. "I've been told by my Master to inform you that Master Feisyyd is on her way." "Thank you," Yral said. The padawan nodded with a smile, then left. Yral pulled his saber from the desk and hooked it to his belt, then started walking to meet his old acquaintance. 1
Ravenclawjedi42 Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Rajib looked up from their book. They felt someone walk into the library, a Zabrak Padawan that looked vaguely familiar. After helping her find the star charts she needed, Rajib sensed something unusually strong in the Force arrive in Tython’s atmosphere, and soon land on the planet. Rajib turned on their droid, 37-IA, who would act as librarian while Rajib was gone, and left the library to where he felt the presence of the new arrival. Based on how they felt through the Force, their connections, they seemed like a dark Jedi, a seeming shade of pale grey in between the light and dark sides, still far from a Sith. Rajib hurried through the Temple to where the person was. If they were lucky, perhaps Rajib could interview them.

Her padawan waited behind her, face concealed under her cloak - seven years, it had been, but she still hadn't really come out of her shell. The child was shy, quiet... often timid. In the past, Aria had always had to teach humility and reservation, not self-confidence. It was a foreign aspect of the soul that she was frightfully unfamiliar with. Perhaps that was why she'd taken Nayla as an apprentice in the first place: to teach herself patience in overcoming a challenge. It was him, certainly. The way his presence rippled through the Force - though foreign, perhaps, to that of the Order, it still felt so much like him. He had changed, but at his heart he was the same... or at the very least, that is what she felt. "You've known him?" Nayla asked. "For many years, yes. You remember Deilil, the older apprentice I raised? The two of them were like father and son..." Feisyyd cracked a rare smile. "Sometimes he would even call me 'Aunt' instead of Master." 7 minutes ago, Ravenclawjedi42 said: Based on how they felt through the Force, their connections, they seemed like a dark Jedi, a seeming shade of pale grey in between the light and dark sides, still far from a Sith. Because I've been trying to imply that Yral is like, inhumanly old.
