SwordNimiForPresident the sword/that sword Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Mistborn era 2 for me. I just love how well the magic meshes with the setting. Wax is also one of my favorite Cosmere characters (next to Kelsier and Dalinar). I also think there is something interesting and unique about setting a fantasy story in that time period. It's pretty much always knights and wizards in fantasy, so it's cool to see Sherlock Holmes mixed with Wyatt Earp mixed with the Survivor. I also think Mistborn has one of the best magic systems. I would rank the metallic arts above everything other than Aon Dor.

SA is also always an amazing read. The Dor might be up there with the best uses of investiture out there… Brandon is just to good of an author for me to decide.
