Experience he/him Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Hey y'all. Thought that maybe there could be a topic where you just post simple things that bring you joy in life. Or big things if you want, but a place to write down reasons you can be happy. I'll start. Some simple things that make me happy are raindrops on roses the stars at night, my new puppy, sleeping outside, hearing others' experiences, and sitting by a warm fire on the beach surrounded by friends. So. What are simple things that bring each of you happyness? 3
The Paradoxical Phenomenon he/him Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 My baby brother but technically he’s pretty fat, so is that a big thing? also chess 2
The cheeseman Don't you dare go Hollow! Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Hearing "The Streets of Whiterun" play when I'm studying. It's a very pleasant, very calming song. Most of the Skyrim soundtrack is. 1
ʟɪɢʜʈ Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Reading back through my journal. Sitting by a fire. Being outside and thinking or imagining stuff Talking really deep conversations with people. Telling stories.
Edema Rue she/her Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Silence. When someone uses a semicolon right. A happy dog, cat, or small child. A tired dog, cat, or small child. Giving, or getting, a good squishy hug. Thinking you haven’t done your math homework then getting it out and realizing you did. 1

Wittles he/him Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 Seeing my friends laugh at something I said or did. Even if I didn't mean it to be funny, it makes me feel a bit less of a burden on my friends. Walking in silence with a friend 1

Walking in silence with a friend Oh, similar to that, watching people’s faces when they read or watch a show or even just look at a meme, then seeing a little dimple, a twitch of the mouth, a tilting of their eyes as they smile. 1
The Sibling she/her Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 When you're choosing the music and someone turns it up because they like the song you chose. 1

Man, I tell you what my friends are music snobs one of them only listens to classic rock, and gulch I like a few songs but a ton of it I can’t stand there’s another one who has very specific and weird music but yeah, it is nice! It’s extra rewarding when I get that sometimes
Experience he/him Posted August 22, 2023 Author Posted August 22, 2023 When you spend an entire day playing video games, and don't have to feel bad about it because you didn't have anything that had to get done today. 2

I literally did this today and it was awesome. Well mostly I watched my brothers play video games while I worked on my story, So I guess mine is that I like spending a day writing and feeling like I accomplished something and relaxed at the same time. 1
Treamayne Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Having somebody enjoy a book/series I recommended enough to come discuss it, ask questions or recommend it to somebody else. Answering a question or explaining something and having them say my response was helpful. 2
The cheeseman Don't you dare go Hollow! Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Reading anything by Tolkien, Robert Jordan, or Sanderson and knowing that it's better than Harry Potter. Gives that warm fuzzy feeling. 2

Edema Rue she/her Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Realizing you have absolutely nothing you need to be doing. Getting a really cool comfort jacket. Horses that lick your face and wipe snot all over your back. Beating people at random party games that get way too competitive. 1
