Patrick Star
So, tor.com recently finished up their Way of Kings reread, and commemorated the achievement by allowing users to ask Brandon questions. One of the questions is this, buy user Phantrosity: "In The Way of Kings, we see a lot of worldhoppers on Roshar. Have you already seeded worldhoppers FROM Roshar in your other works?" Brandon responds "Yes, you've met several." So, which Rosharian characters have been worldhopping to other books in the cosmere? There are a couple of obvious picks here: Nalan - He got Nightblood, enough said. Mraize (and/or some other ghostblood members) - Again, fairly obvious given the large assortment of trinkets in their meetingplace. But what other stormlight characters have worldhopped to other places? Honestly, I'm not very sure. For my money though, I'd wager that ancient radiants likely did with some regularity. Are there any characters that you guys would like to add?
Fatebreaker
Ooo, this is an interesting concept... Maybe Battar and Kalak as both Elsecallers and Willshapers have the surge of Transportation.
ShardWolf
So, without going back an digging to verify one way or another, a name keeps popping up in my head. What if Sazed was one? Reading the wiki on him (for refresher) it seems more unlikely but I just have an odd feeling. Also, what if the Lord Ruler was one? The breeding methods he employed seem very akin to parshmen. Anyway, just thoughts.

There is of course the Terris Worldhoppers, but they still originated from Scadrial.

I tried doing some word searches from the "Swearing in Roshar" thread to see if any Rosharian worldhoppers slipped up that way, but couldn't find anything in: AoL, Warbreaker, or Shadows for Silence... I doubt that they would be that obvious. Vasher was meant to be in Stormlight from his character's inception, which probably makes him an anomaly in that he uses those types of phrases. They're probably background characters who only appeared for a short amount of time. There's probably at least one in Warbreaker, likely in the palace of the returned. Maybe one of the priests? AerionBFII
I think the Heralds are bound to Roshar. The Lord ruler has never worldhopped he 'could' have during his time as ascended. Im not sure who tbh, in the Cosmere timeline i think all the books and events happened before Stormlight Archive so i think it must have been somebody from the past.
Patrick Star
The lord ruler was also really, REALLY old. It's possible that the particular aspect of feruchemy that kept him alive for all that time only worked on Scadrial, or else kept him from being able to actually perform whatever action worldhopping involved. Maybe it's one person at a time? And considering that the heralds damaged the oathpact, I'd imagine that they could worldhop.
AerionBFII
Did the Lord Ruler know how to worldhop? Brandon Sanderson He was familiar with the idea that people lived on other planets, but had no interest--or experience--in visiting other places. During his Ascension, he could have left Scadrial, if he'd wished. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Have any of the Heralds left the Greater Roshar system in the last 4500 years?" "No, they are bound to it." Been finding little snippets all over the forum,
Mckeedee123
You'd think the eyes would be distinctive. I'll be looking for this in my next Cosmere-run.
hoidhunter
Braize is a Shardworld in Greater Roshar, the same system as Roshar and Ashyn. Odium settled there, although his presence is still felt on Roshar. Braize is unlikely to get its own books, but scenes from The Stormlight Archive will be set on Braize. Braize is known to the Vorin people as Damnation. I always assumed that when the Heralds talk about going to the place of nightmares in between desolations...they were hopping between Roshar and Braize (where Odium hangs out). I am aware that this does not involve characters from Roshar appearing in other books that we have already read...I just wanted to know if anyone else agreed.
AerionBFII
I think i spotted another Terrisman Worldhopper on Roshar.. He was a tall handsome man, who's arms seemed entirely too long for his body. - chapter 80 to fight the rain. A bridgeman who talks to shallan.

Having arms that appear to be too long for someone's body is a very odd thing to point out about a person unless it is a secret hint about something. Also...his manner of speech is very polite and pleading...docile even...very unusual for a bridgeman...but pretty much standard for a terrisman. Replace each instance of brightness with mistress and it sounds like Sazed talking to Vin. WEZ definitely gets an upvote...
natc
Beginning to suspect with all these Terrismen and Hoid being a feruchemist (I think?) that worldhopping from Scadrial has more to do with ferrings than it does with mistings.

He does indeed use feruchemy. Interesting idea, by the way. It makes sense.
