"Aaaaaaaah, okie, what are we doing? its a good thing I thought to bring my sword!"

Basil's head shot around to look. "You brought a sword???"

"Of course, why would I go anywhere without a sword? Honestly how impractical."

Honestly, Paprika didn't know what she was expecting.

"So, tomorrow at noon then?" she asked moving to the door.

"Ah... aren't you supposed to not be at your house?"

[Mags she/they]

"Well, officially I'm still there," she chuckled, "it shouldn't be too hard to break back in though."

"If it'd be too much of a hassle, then you can spend the night here if you like."

"Like a sleepover?!"

“If you want.”

[Mags she/they]

"Cool!" she plopped back down on the floor.

"Pappie, can I sleep on the floor too?" Basil's show had just finished - on a cliffhanger, which for some reason he didn't seem particularly disturbed about.

"No, honey. Go sleep in your bed."

"But why does she get to sleep on the floor?"

Paprika crossed her arms. "Go to bed, honey."

"Aww..."

Ari curled up and fell asleep immediately, she had mastered the art of falling asleep whenever she wanted long ago.

Paprika just blinked a couple times, then shook her head to get Basil ready for bed.
