Allera followed Ayia out of the ship. They grimaced, thinking back to the last time they had tried a job like this.

Variance looked particularly tense as they walked. Occasionally, he sped up and down the tunnel, checking for any presence.

Ayia poked her head out the shaft, then crept back in. "Alright. It's just out there. That small, triangle-ish guy: a Titres-Model Interceptor, by the looks of things. It'll be a bit cramped, but it'll do."

"Should we be invisible for this part?"

"It's gonna look hella weird if the ship just starts opening itself. So let's kill everyone in the room first."

"Somehow I think killing a bunch of people will cause more of a commotion. I could do disguises, but I'd need something to go off of."

"Beorin uniforms track biostatus information. If someone dies, their signal to the main console is cut. If the unit doesn't check in when prompted, the entire cruiser will go on lockdown." Ayia held up the needle she'd used earlier. "This is the only paralytic I've managed to concoct that doesn't set it off, and I don't have much of it. Variance, new guy: I don't suppose you could disguise the ship as sitting still until we're all inside, could you?"

"I could do that. And maybe Shim could make us invisible, so I don't have to do that too."

Shim became visible as a glint of light on the floor. "I don't think that me cloaking all of you is a good idea, but I can make the the ship appear to be unmoving until you're all on it. Just be prepared. The way my abilities work, I have to put up a screen that will blind you while you pass through it. Don't make any noise."

"Okay. I can do the invisibility, then."

"Affirmative. Give me a moment to set up the screen, then cross the room." The glint of light moved off in the direction of the ship, dimming back into invisibility.

"What do I do? Just get in the ship?"

"I'll lead." Ayia took wide strides to the ship. She supposed that clarifying her lead probably wasn't all that helpful for a bunch of invisible people, but she did so anyway.

Strohger tried to follow, but went the wrong way

"How does the ship open?"

Ayia opened the ship by scooching beneath the ship, tampering with some wire overlays, then popping back up and opening the door.

The wires are beneath the ship????

Strohger sighed and went over near the ship.

"So now that we have broken in, how do we close the door?"

"By closing it?" Ayia plopped herself down in the cockpit. "I'm taking pilot. Allera, you're here on my right. I guess Vari and Shim don't exactly need to sit, so Strohger..."

She almost gestured at something, but realized the futility of this decision.

"Whatever. Check that back panel. There should be a pull-out seat of sorts there."

There was indeed, not. "Okay, so there isn't a seat back there. Maybe someone took it?"

"When can I drop the invisibility? If the ship doesn't appear to be changing from the outside, do we still need to be hidden?"
