Is Denth Returned or related to the Idrian royalty

I was re-reading Warbreaker and I noticed that after Denth died, his hair changed colors. We also know that at least one of their group was Returned (Vasher). These are the passages I'm talking about.

Chapter 57:

Quote

Denth shook, bleeding, and lost control. His hair suddenly bled to deep black, then blond, then an angry red.

Finally, the hair turned white with terror.

Epilogue:

Quote

I can't remember the time before I Returned.

Denth is Returned, called VaraTreledees by Nightblood, one of the Five Scholars who all were Returned. But he is also a descendant of Vo, the First Returned. He is related to the royal line and Siri and Vivenna. He has Royal Locks independently from his Returned status. WoBs:

I will RAFO that. But he does have the Royal Locks, so you can at least assume that they're related, at the very least.
