So, in TLM we see that Dor can be stored in jars and is in possession of Ghostbloods.
Similarly, in RoW, in Lasting Integrity Stormlight is held both in perfect gems and also in large jar that was bought from Ire.

Few notes:

  1. By the time of RoW, Ghostbloods seemingly don't know that Investiture can be stored in jars like those seen in Lasting Integrity and TLM. The reason is that Ghostbloods are trying to get their hands on perfect gemstones to transport Investiture, which makes no sense if they had access to those jars. Since Shallan reported to Mraize that Honorspren had the jar, and that they bought it from 'Eyree', it is possible that that was the moment Ghostbloods learned of this.
  2. This can possibly mean that Ghostbloods simply bought purified Dor from Ire, which would explain why it is treated as so rare a thing
  3. Also, in RoW Navani notes that Stormlight is not gas, but has elements of both gas and liquid. Possibly then, purified Dor is not as different from blanked Light as it can seem at first glance.

But question is, what are the jars made out of? They don't seem to be a fabrial of some kind, but I doubt they would be ordinary glass.

Aluminum, it can take liquid investure from a perpendicularity and it will stay. I'm just guessing the walk around scooping some dor in it and purifying it

Aluminum isn't transparent.

Transparent 'aluminum' is a composite ceramic material, and as seen from Scadrial, alloys and composites don't necessarily share properties of the original material (e.g. Duralumin, which is 95% aluminum has no Investiture blocking properties to speak of).

In this case, aluminum forms less then 50% (by number density) of the material, so at best it would work as extremely flawed sphere, so it would leak out.

Not all aluminum alloys have great same properties this one couldbe special. But this was just a thought, the other option is that it's just normal glass and some Aonic magic is holding it in place. So we don't know!

Better to post an idea and risk it be disproven, I always say. Perhaps that's why you see so many of my posts getting vetoed :D

As for the Purified Dor, I think that it was normal glass, though something weird is going on with the Dor itself; I think that because it's been Unkeyed in a certain way it doesn't "leak" the way that other Investiture does, hence the reason it can be kept in a simple jar. That is speculation only, however.
