I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED

And I never actually got around to coming up with a name...

Whatever sounds cool works.

Jay spun around as a whooshing sound met his ears. He saw the Mishmash Inn open up a door, no, a portal, and watched Fadran step through. This must be the adventure! Jay rushed forward checking his pocket for his Za and stepping through. Immediately everything felt swooshy and bright, he thought he was floating then, BAM! He was out the other side. Rubbing his eyes Jay looked up, exited for the adventure that lay before him.

Nerdy, are you going to be our guide?

"Why thank you!" Glena walked out onto a bridge made of solid light. "We're here a day early, so I can show you around before the fun stuff starts. We have a day length of 1.03 Macrocosmic Standard and gravity of 0.98. We also have a gratuitous amount of flashy light stuff."

"It looks so ... strange" Jay said his eyes flicking from place to place. "Where are the trees?" Then pointing to one of the many weird looking, red glowing roads he continued. "And what are those?"

Eliira stepped through the portal and trembled slightly. Zirn'rii zipped around, hovering over one of the bridges.

"This is... nice..." Eliira said, looking at the bridge. "Uhm..." She glanced around and grimaced, but Zirn'rii held no such qualms.

Eliira! Eliira look at this! He bumped repeatedly onto the bridge, giggling. Looooooook it's like me but solid! OoooooooOOOoooo!!!

There is, as it stands, no Macrocosmic standard for anything; let alone days.

No, that's just Glena taking the average of the worlds she's visited and assuming that it applies to the entire Macrocosmos.

She can be a little pompous sometimes.

I accept!

As everyone hopped through the doorway, Fadran poked his head back in to double-check that everything back at the inn was in order.

"Make sure Kris knows we're clocked to Room 112."

Will do.

"Dunno how long we'll be here. You can handle the Glorbdashnan thing while I'm away?"

Yes. It's mostly under control by now anyways.

"Kay, what about the - "

Fadran, I literally imbued the limitless essence of the Iconar into this place. Do you really think I can't handle myself?

He put on a weak, sheepish sort of grin. "Lemme know if you need anything."

Don't die.

"You neither, bud."

Fadran shut the door, and upon snapping the bolt into place watched it shrink in on itself and vanish. A little iron key dropped to the floor where it had stood, which he slipped into his packrealm for the time being.

“What a strange place,” Rayvyn said, poking at the bridge with her toe. “It is very…um…bright.”

Rayvyn quickly tried to step away from it, then realized the entire street was made of light. She blushed and decided to ignore the street instead.
