Hey, I've been talking with Voidus about bringing in my character (having finally finished reading Steelheart - not sure why it took me so long) and we had a few ideas. I love the idea of a Yandere type close range object teleporter. So, being a little bit slightly insane, and obsessed with poisons, what would be everyone's thoughts on "Saccharin", the love crazed, poison injecting bakeaholic former biologist?

I love it! The more gleefully insane Epics the better. :)

I'm a little confused about Toymaker. Are his constructs organic or mechanical?

I love it. How big are the bird armies, and what precisely is her range for teleportation?

(Also, I hope you don't have any objections to shipping, because once I see her in action, she WILL be shipped. :P)

The bird armies aren't really armies... only so many as can fly around her head without bumping into each other, so maybe 5 or 6? Up for suggestions re teleportation range, perhaps it only works within the range of the space it takes up for her and the poisonee to sit and chat over a cup of tea. Though that is precise, it is only so in a way.

This range would of course allow for many more opportunities for baking.

I got the impression that they're a little of both—CorpseMaker can kill them, and I think a healer can heal them, but they're mindless. It seems to me that they're somewhere in between.

I think Sugar Rush is the perfect name for a Saccharine/Funtimes ship. :D

Edit: Sounds good, Mrs. Voidus. I think maybe 50 yards (?) would be a decent range. Any other suggestions?

Ha ha, love it! And no I don't mind at all if the character were to be shipped. How big is a yard? so about 45 meters. ok :) Thats one big tea party

If you were thinking smaller than that, maybe more like 30 feet. That's about the size of a small backyard.

If you've got everything nailed down, just PM me her weakness and you're good to go.

Immagine a Lifeless from Warbreaker. They're human in all sense of the word, they just lack a soul.

Well sparks. There goes my ingenious plan to fry all their sophisticated electronics with an EMP.  <_<  :P

A yard is about equivalent to three feet.

I hope you similarly have no qualms about your characters being ponified--because make no mistake, it will happen. :P

Do I mind being Ponified? That's pretty much why I joined. Not even joking.

So the bio's currently:
Real name: Marigold Carlisle
Epic name: Saccharin
Primary power: Short range object teleportation, can teleport small objects a distance of around 30 yards.
Secondary power: Animal control- can summon and control small animals (Around 6 at a time)
Bio: Before Calamity claimed her, Marigold was a biologist in a lab working with her husband Jeff to study Epics, when the lab was destroyed she was presumed dead, but had survived and restyled herself as Saccharin the Epic, and began searching for her husband.
Modus Operandi: Enjoys baking, sweet things, picking flowers while surrounded by birds and teleporting poisons into peoples veins.

Looks good! What sort of costume does she wear?

Okay, I have a Saccharine pony in mind….but I think someone else might too….should everyone who wants to ponify Saccharine do it and then Mrs. Voidus can pick the one she likes best?

I most definitely look forward to seeing Saccharine in action. :D Mrs. Voidus, have you seen this thread? It gives summaries of all the currently active characters in Oregon. :)

I'm still trying to piece together Sam and Revolution ponies, so I won't dispute your claims on this one. :P

On a detached, planning note, I just watched the latest episode of Doctor Who, Into the Dalek. Without giving any spoilers, it filled me with the zealous desire to EXTERMINATE CORPSEMAKER. CORPSE-MAKER WILL BE DESTROYED.

Ahem. Anyway, Lightwards and Altermind will probably need another meeting in order to discuss a proper strategy for eliminating CM. I have been putting together a little something I like to call "Project Amber" which should nullify the CM threat once and for all, leaving the Empire-Thoughttown coalition with no enemies but each other.

Of course, we'll need to cooperate with Joe to some extent--the fact that we can't kill off people's characters without permission means that any attack on CorpseMaker would likely end either in retreat or stalemate, neither of which will get Oregon properly reduced to rubble. Not unless mutual chaotic cooperation is employed, in any case. :P

None of these thoughts are important right now, but I thought I'd put them out there. Back to the matter at hand, welcome to our insane and mildly dysfunctional family, Mrs. Voidus and Saccharine! :D

SoulSwitch could be persuaded to share some of his surveillance with the coalition, he's not particularly loyal.

You want my Permission to kill CorpseMaker? Ok, but he gets to kill at least 3 epics before he dies. Also, does anyone mind if CorpseMaker recruits Murphy?

Okie doke. I nominate Nighthound, Nighthound, and Nighthound. Nothing against Edge, not at all. I just really hate Nighthound. :P

I don't mind at all. It would definitely make the fight harder on our side, which will be fun. :D

Does it count if CorpseMaker kills Lightwards three different times? :P I was also thinking we could have Sightline be integral to the final finishing of CM, as he was the first Epic in game to directly challenge him. Having Sightline integral to his ultimate demise would give CM's story a neat closure, I think.

Saccharine, Mark I.

Attire? hmmm... Edwardian park strolling dress and hat, fitted with lace parasol and gloves.

In seriousness, if you want to off Scorch, he will be surrounded by his weakness very soon….

Yes. This. So many times.

Hammelin is still up for grabs if CM wants to murder him.
I feel weird constantly begging people to off my character :S

But if she knew.... :P

I think so. Man, that team needs a name!

once I get icons working! you'll see Electro's thoughts. And an almost dead character returns!

Welcome! And may I say, your post to rep ratio is insanely high. ;)

Scorch? Not for long, it looks like.  I'll have to get a few posts up for him, if CM is going to kill him, so it'll make sense. (On the other hand, it would be darkly hilarious to have CorpseMaker randomly kill him because he couldn't get the barista to make a design in the foam on top of his latte. :P

I say we make the final battle with CM an enormous bloodbath with casualties on all sides. It's the only way to be fair.

Also, having CM kill Lightwards would ensure his name lives on in Lightwards' nightmares for the duration of the game. Big L doesn't forget the people who murder him, even when they're gone. (And the nickname "Big L" is totally rubbish, I'm never using it again.)

If you only knew.

Well that's ominous.
