TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 This fic is truly worthy of the title Wit Killer, which you currently carry. (Unless it actually refers to an old elantrian assassin group that wanted to eliminate Hoid ) Still need to catch up on my Cosmere reading. Did I get Deathgale's powers right?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 * Narrator voice * And now it's time for Epic Plot Twists with Kobold King. In today's episode, Remington Springfield uncovers a horrifying revelation... Nathan led the grumpy man into the nice suburban home. "Well, here it is. We can stop here for tonight." Remington didn't answer immediately, his eyes glowering across the house with what seemed to be rage... and possibly something else. "How did you choose this house?" he asked quietly, his voice sounding strange. Nathan hesitated. "Lightwards stayed here when he first came to Portland. I think--hey!" Remington Springfield grabbed him by the collar and pulled him into his face. "What happened to the couple that lived here? What happened to Thomas and Mary Sadry?" The Sadry's? Nathan gulped. They'd been turned into Warriors, their bodies left to rot in syrup-soaked wreckage. "Dead?" Remington croaked. He threw Nathan down and bowed his head, quietly stewing. A flurry of images flew through Nathan's mind: the Sadry's obediently pouring tea, Nighthound crushing their skulls one by one. One of the rooms in their home--a room that had once belonged to a smiling hunter who posed with his rifle in portraits. "My grandparents," Remington growled softly. "The only family I had left... I was staying here with them." His eyes were red and furious. "I don't give a damnation about the Empire of Light. To Calamity with the pebble in the boot. That professor is going to pay." This has been Epic Plot Twists with Kobold King. Tune in next time to see the remarkable reveal of Funtimes' sister-in-law... I had actually written something similar(ish) into his backstory, although Lightwards was not involved. Is her sister-in-law Voidgaze? Or pregnant? Or both? Or (gasp) is Funtimes' sister-in-law actually CorpseMaker, who is himself her sister-in-law's opposite-sex clone from another dimension who has forgotten his identity and can only regain his memory with the help of a unicycling kilted Darth Vader? 2

Did I get Deathgale's powers right? You´ll get there one day. More or less, depending on how far away he was from Voidgaze, he could just cut her head off and be done with it, which would have been more in character but his powers weren´t "wrong." I had actually written something similar(ish) into his backstory, although Lightwards was not involved. Her sister-in-law... Nathan is Voidgaze´s and/or Ray´s long lost brother. Witness the touching familiy reunion, involving madness, confetty, waffles, tears, ships and lots and lots of awesome. Now, only in your Question thread. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 The more I think about the Remington/Sadry connection the more it makes sense.... That'll be the weirdest family reunion EVER. There will be many strange gifts given.

There will be many strange gifts given. It would make Nathan hoping the "Sadry hunter" was still alive into a brilliant piece of foreshadowing. It's always nice when we look like we're more clever than we are. Of course, Scorch worried that someone might summon a T-rex at one point. Some prophetic stuff there... 2

How I feel when I look smarter than I actually am. And it would explain why the hunter kept so many unapproved and outright seditious comic books. Because Remington's Patronus is a honey badger, and honey badger don't care. 2

Looking smart is always nice, which is why I already gave away a source for others to learn Nighthound´s weakness. It does seem like a perfect fit. 2

We're not so great at planning, but we're brilliant at improvising. Introduced Aldo and Cricket, by the way. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) We're not so great at planning, but we're brilliant at improvising. Introduced Aldo and Cricket, by the way. I like them already. They have a very nice chemestry, as well. Furthermore, this line almost killed me. "Everywhere's a hotel if you kill the owners." Given this mindset he´ll love the empire, especially Nighthound, given his almost permanent smile. (My god, someone might like Nighthound. ) Edited August 27, 2014 by Edgedancer 2

Mickey: You don't have a plan, do you? You just make it up as you go along! Doctor: Yep. But I am brilliant at it. Nice. I like them. Not in a "I'd like to get to know you over coffee and then take you out for texting and scones" sort of a way, but they're great characters. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) Saying that we have a plan to fill in the destruction part of destroying Portland would be borderline insulting. We are the awesome chaos that is feed by the insanity of all skillful writers in the world. We are the oncoming storm that uproots all such silly things like preparation and editing. We are a bunch of nerds, that wouldn´t tell each what to do and what not to do, because it would mess up some grand scheme and instead just writes what they enjoy. (Whatever we come up will probaly make for an awesome first draft, though. You can always add forshadowing later. ) Edited August 27, 2014 by Edgedancer 2
Kobold King he/him Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Thanks, they were fun to write. Fun in the creepy sort of way, of course. Anyway, you knew this was coming. For some reason the pony creator doesn't have a top hat. Oh well, still turned out well. Matching Cricket coming soon. 3

I'm beginning to think that future players might think ponification is a required step in making a new character. Anyway, I really like that pony. The moustache adds a lot. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Nice pony. I´m pretty sure the new one has top hats, you might want to look into that. Thanks, I followed your advice. I haven't done enough in the new one to recognize all the new features yet. So here's Tophat!Aldo with Cricket-- And apparently he's gotten into some sort of magic fight with the GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie. I'm beginning to think that future players might think ponification is a required step in making a new character. Anyway, I really like that pony. The moustache adds a lot. Ponification isn't required--but it certainly helps. What isn't improved with a thin magician's moustache? 2

What isn't improved with a thin magician's moustache? Aldo the Enigmatic and the GREAT and POWERFUL TRIXIE...is that a mighty duel picture or a shipping picture? These are questions I have to ask. Love Cricket, by the way. Can't wait to see what Aldo thinks of Funtimes. A friendship for the ages, or will she break his brain? 1

Meant as a duel, but if you want to examine the world of Ponified Oregon through shipping goggles, who am I to stop you? If there's one thing Aldo admires, it's showmanship. And Funtimes with her glitter and colors and unicycling manservant passes his friendship test with flying colors. 1

If there's one thing Aldo admires, it's showmanship. And Funtimes with her glitter and colors and unicycling manservant passes his friendship test with flying colors. Everything is seen through shipping goggles. Once you put them on, it takes a pretty strong dose of No Yay to get them off. (Nighthound/Ray does a pretty good job of breaking them, to be honest....) Aldo/Unicyclist ....no, not happening. One half of this pair is undeserving of the other's affections, and it isn't the Unicyclist. 2
Voidus Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Sorry, realized that I didn't share the new doc on the summary, it's publicly available now.

I'm working on an Altermind viewpoint and the I'll do Electro soon. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Seeing this latest turn in Altermind and Lightwards' relationship, I propose this song to adequately summarize their feelings for one another. So are there still active scenes going, or will we be fading into night soon? 1
Voidus Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I'll do one more scene for the P's then that'll be it at my end unless someone wants to kill Hamelin the same day he arrives 1

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 An enemy's enemy, right?" Maxim 29: The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more. No less. Are we still thinking about having Nighthound joining CorpseMaker? that was the original Idea, but I think we've forgotten about it.
