I find myself doing the same thing. I have a woman named either Grasshopper or Katydid who can leap to the tops of buildings and kick things really hard. :P

I'm not as inclined to come up with Epic ideas. My specialty is shipping the ones we've got.

"This is, like, the best date ever."

Purple Phoenix lifted another slice of pepperoni pizza as his date took a slice from her half. Peppers and parmesan, that was what she liked. "I'm with you, babe."

She smiled and took an enormous bite. Phoenix laughed. He liked a woman who wasn't afraid to eat. "Can we, like, go to the pine forest next week?"

"We could go right now."

"When we're, like, done here," she said with a laugh. "There's a park that runs perpendicular to the pines."

"There was one just outside Pasadena, but the park service was still painting the padlocks."

"Mmm." She polished off a slice of pepper and parmesan and took a sip of peach slushy. "This has been awesome. Thanks for taking me, Phoenix."

"The pleasure is mine," he told the Pink Pinkness.

So the children would be Fuschia? Indigo? :P

Ha, I called it!

I´m trying to remember whether or not Voidgaze catched Nighthound´s name from Alterminds spies.

Edit: Yup, she was there when Psy-Fi and Altermind magicked his name up. :P

Awesome, thanks.  I guess I will officially claim Mundivore, and join in eventually, after I read the other thread.

Sounds good, when you get a chance and you've fleshed out the character a bit more could you make a post for their bio in the 'Epics of Oregon' thread?

EDIT: Also I just realized that with Aldo's updated power set he'd make quite the team with Zip, they can reduce both the mass and physical size of an object to make it portable, then surprise everyone when they realize that the 'toy' car they threw was actually a real car :P

I don't think the question should be "What color would they be?" but rather "How long could you look at them before your eyes started to hurt?" :P

Awesome! Glad to have you aboard :) If you'd like a plot summary, we'd be more than happy to give you one, too.

You don´t have to resist the urge, if you volunteer to write the summary. :P

Welcome Tulir.

Welcome Tulir.

Well it's nearly 1AM here, but I probably will in the morning, it's only...500? posts.

I'd volunteer to write the summary, but I'd have to refresh my memory by re-reading everything that happened before Page 7. Which I can do, of course, but it might take a bit.

Leaving out details what happened before Lightwards arrived went something like this.

Funtimes steals Nathan from Fortuity and keeps him as her fake Epic boyfriend thingy. She teleports them to Tillamook and from there to Portland. After causing some chaos in the city they arrive at Corpsmaker´s bank, where they found CM in a wall, where Sightline stuck him a week before. They free him and turn his bank in a bouncy castle.

After some exposition on Thoughttown Altermind and Scorch also headed out and arrived at the bouncy bank.

Nighthound arrives in town and assaults Voidgaze. She starts searching for him, to execute revenge and also also arrives in the bank.

Electro also, you guessed it, arrived at the bank.

Everyone meeting there ultimately ended with Scorch and Electro working for Corpsemaker, Altermind running of with Voidgaze and Nathan and Funtimes teleporting away, still under the assumption that Voidgaze is death.

You can take it from here. :P

I've for now stolen Edge's summary, I'll do a big one later if no one else has :P

Looking back on it everything makes sense now. First you steal my logic and then my summary, while I can´t connect the dots. You devil you. :P

Back in my head, I´m still wondering, if Voidgaze should react with a short outburst at the mention of Nighthound or hold herself back to not further derail the noversation.

How much does she hate that guy?

He smashed her head in twice, so pretty badly I guess.

If she hates him badly enough, she might not be able to contain it.

On the other hand, she might deliberately contain an outburst out of a strategic desire for revenge.

So….yeah. Sorry I'm not more helpful. :S

The only thing I know for certain is that Voidgaze couldn´t hide the fact that something is up and I´m starting to like the idea of her starring at Lightwrds and everyone else (miss)interpreting that. :P

Well, it seems we have a plan.

Up next in Shippersville: Will Voidgaze survive the cruelest of betrayals?

Voidgaze laughed and spun as a breeze lifted the tassels of her cloak, batting them playfully about her legs. This was where she belonged. This was where she loved to be: in the domain of her true love. She lay down on the grass with a happy sigh as the wind combed through her hair.

A sudden sharp pain cut through her arm. Voidgaze sat up and inspected it, horrified to see a line of blood on her white sleeve. "What the…?"

She felt another slice, and another, and another. But there were no blades that she could see, nothing except her and the grass and the….

Wind.

No. It couldn't be.

Another invisible blade slashed her across the chest. Voidgaze clutched at it, only to have another wound carved across her arms.

"Air! Why are you doing this to me?"

As she curled on her side, trying to stem the blood flowing from an increasing number of cuts, she thought she heard a mocking laugh.

"We had…something…special…." Another cut, another small cry of pain. "Air, please. I….I love you…."

In the moment between Voidgaze's death and her resurrection, a man with a triangle-shaped scar on his cheek laughed. "Not for long," Deathgale chuckled. "Not for long."

This fic is truly worthy of the title Wit Killer, which you currently carry. (Unless it actually refers to an old elantrian assassin group that wanted to eliminate Hoid  )

And now it's time for Epic Plot Twists with Kobold King. In today's episode, Remington Springfield uncovers a horrifying revelation...

Nathan led the grumpy man into the nice suburban home. "Well, here it is. We can stop here for tonight."

Remington didn't answer immediately, his eyes glowering across the house with what seemed to be rage... and possibly something else. "How did you choose this house?" he asked quietly, his voice sounding strange.

Nathan hesitated. "Lightwards stayed here when he first came to Portland. I think--hey!"

Remington Springfield grabbed him by the collar and pulled him into his face. "What happened to the couple that lived here? What happened to Thomas and Mary Sadry?"

The Sadry's? Nathan gulped. They'd been turned into Warriors, their bodies left to rot in syrup-soaked wreckage.

"Dead?" Remington croaked. He threw Nathan down and bowed his head, quietly stewing. A flurry of images flew through Nathan's mind: the Sadry's obediently pouring tea, Nighthound crushing their skulls one by one. One of the rooms in their home--a room that had once belonged to a smiling hunter who posed with his rifle in portraits.

"My grandparents," Remington growled softly. "The only family I had left... I was staying here with them." His eyes were red and furious. "I don't give a damnation about the Empire of Light. To Calamity with the pebble in the boot. That professor is going to pay."

This has been Epic Plot Twists with Kobold King. Tune in next time to see the remarkable reveal of Funtimes' sister-in-law...
