TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) More zombies of course, duh. There are always power ranger Megazords. Meh, the terms are logical enough, at least for more "sensible" Epics like Lightwards. I was somewhat hesistant with Nighthounds mindcontrol ability because nothing like it was mentioned but ultimetly decided: "Storm it, Epic powers don´t have to make sense." So don´t worry about it. Furthermore, we have other elements that skirt the cannon border (Funtimes and gold, PP´s tech, Corpsmaker messing with the power of others, which is kind of a reversed gifting) and no one raised a flag about them. Not really, Nighthound hasn´t really formed an opinion of him and Voidgaze´s went from hopping in a bouncy castle in fron of him to Now I,ve got to kill him, so she´s more annoyed than scared or impressed. Complete insanity and a broken powerful ability? Oh, well let me see if Voidgaze does anything else than just sitting in silence and eating. I wasn't saying Funtimes WAS more powerful than CorpseMaker. Honestly, in a fight between them, she'd probably wind up teleporting far away and barely surviving his basilisk stare, and then avoiding him from then on. Of course, him killing her is not outside the realm of possibility, given her lack of invincibility or healing of any kind. And her fight with Fortuity was far from fair (bullets into croutons--how do you predict THAT?). I just found CorpseMaker's caution around her humorous given that she's kind of a ridiculous Epic. Voidgaze makes an interesting point. What would happen if Lightwards tried to resurrect two steaks from the same cow? I would say the two steaks would wind up merging together. If there are multiple steaks from the same cow in that steakhouse, I think they'd fly from plates and merge with one another as the cow came back to life. Voidus Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I agree with twi, he used the whole skeletons at the museum so there's some precedent for it too. Now I'm going to try to sleep while still thinking about zombie cow clones. I'm sure I won't have nightmares.*Rocks slowly back and forth*

Honestly the only chance Funtimes has to survive a straight up fight with CorpseMaker is if he doesn´t know that she´s the teleporter otherwise she has five seconds to quiver. Against anything without prime Invincibility CM is still death incarnate and even against Epics that do have it he´s a pretty heavy hitter. While not being able to summon multiple bodies from one corpse makes sense to me but if they merge together, would they also suck in the other parts of the cow?
Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 When he raises human bodies, including himself, he still leaves splatters of blood behind. I would say that organic matter would remain distinct from the resurrected Warrior, but that he wouldn't be able to raise them. So, if he and Voidgaze's steaks came from the same cow, he could raise his own and Voidgaze's meal would remain separate. But he would fail if he tried to use his power on her steak. Remember that fossils aren't actually bones. Sometimes when an animal dies, sediment and other inorganic substances form an impression around the body, and the inorganic impression is what gets left behind as a fossil. He was able to raise dinosaur "skeletons" because of microscopic protein fragments preserved within the stone.

You know, if Lightwards explains this to Voidgaze he might get a student that actually enjoys lessons. 1

Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 It seems the Empire recruited the wrong Edgedancer character. Lightwards would have much preferred Voidgaze to Nighthound. On a side note, Oregon places names are getting hard to ponify. Portmane and Tillahoof are easy, but how do you ponify Oregon itself? 2

Look at the positive side, if she didn´t join TT she never would have meet Big Al. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Oategon? Steelhoof's city, of course, is Neighcago. Look at the positive side, if she didn´t join TT she never would have meet Big Al. The sacrifices we make for romance. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 The sacrifices we make for romance. Was it worth it? Already an idea how Lightwards is going to answere Voidgaze or will you wait for Mailliw. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Was it worth it? Already an idea how Lightwards is going to answere Voidgaze or will you wait for Mailliw. I don't know. It would be fun to completely overshadow Altermind by jabbering about dinosaurs to his assistant, but I don't know how Mailliw would feel about that... In the meantime, I've seen Steelhoof bleed. And I will see him bleed again. 3

I´ve seen Steelheat ponyfied and it was awesome! 2
Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Glad my hard labor (of four minutes) is appreciated. I'm putting together a couple of other ponies from the novel. I'm thinking of giving David a drop of blood as his cutie mark--he got it when the bank was destroyed, and he decided what his special talent would be. EDIT: I'm going to the theater to see Guardians of the Galaxy, but I'll try to get another Lightwards post up sometime today. Edited August 26, 2014 by Kobold King 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 It was dark then; Nightweilder's reign was upon us. 3

Kobold King he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Hello Firefight Megan. I wonder, when the Lightgaze shiping begins. Please, Lightwards is a professional. A teacher-student relationship would be completely inappropriate. Besides, she already has Al. EDIT: I love the Megan pony too. Edited August 26, 2014 by Kobold King 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 Hello Firefight Megan. I wonder, when the Lightgaze shiping begins. When indeed. "You're quite intelligent," Lightwards said as another stack of waffles vanished. "And you, um, certainly appreciate waffles." "They're good," Voidgaze said, lifting her fork as the server brought another stack. "I didn't even know they served waffles here." "They do now." Voidgaze paused, which she probably shouldn't have done while tipping the syrup bottle onto her waffles. Soon a veritable moat of maple syrup filled her plate. "You don't mean….you made them make waffles? For me?" He smiled. "Lightwards, that is so sweet! And a little creepy." He leaned forward. "That's what I aim for, my dear." 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Well it´s decided. The ultimate showdown of this RP will be between Lightwards and Big Al, no dinosaurs allowed, a fight of true gentleman. 3

There are some comments that are so awesome, the thread lies dormant for hours because no one can top them. Heading to the movies now--gonna see me some space raccoons! 2
