no. then they get a pet Kandra.

I don't think OreSeur or TenSoon would approve. Being a child's pet is probably worse than having fleas.

1: Start a boarding school that claims it can fix troubled youth.

2: Bring them to the school.

3: An *ahem* accident happens.

4: Replace youth with Kandra.

5: Send youth back home.

6: Another *ahem* accident.

7: The Kandra is free to return.

8: Profit.

*Rereads post* Ummm, I think I'm going to go ahead and nominate myself for the dark alley list after that one.

I doubt any one of us will ever get a job involving children after this thread.

It's a good thing I resigned from my Speech and Debate coach position this year.

Bit of a necro but meh.

Woah woah woah....I'm not spending that kind of money on a party favor.

Just tell them that if they don't their little blessings will be removed.

This is in reference to the latest short story released "Sixth of Dusk". Not sure the protocol so I will include it in spoilers:

Breed Sak's form of aviar so you have a whole roost of them trained to impart their "gift" to anyone whose shoulders you place them on. Now you have children that anytime they think of doing something naughty, they automatically see the horrible and gruesome death that will result. Then the kids (albeit scarred horrendously), will govern themselves.....probably crying in the corner.....but still! Profit!

Throw an Awakened Teddy Bear with the command "Discipline" at the kids. All the poorly behaved ones will be aptly punished by a sentient stuffed animal. That'll keep them in line.

You know you can edit instead of double posting, right?

The problem with putting the kids in Cadmium bubbles is that you would have to be in the bubble with them for the bubble to stay up.

I didn't think you had to be in the bubble for it to work... huh.

Anyways, the possible uses for Awakening in babysitting are endless.

Weeks? I think week if you're lucky. :P

At the end of said week spike/stamp away their memories and repeat.

EDIT: I've got another one tell them that if they don't behave Iron eyes will come get them.

We were already Terrible People. This just proves it.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

(I could go one step further and say that knowledge is power, and we of the Seventeenth Shard have too much Cosmere knowledge for our own good. Perhaps this explains some things. You know, Hemalurgy, the Dark Alley, this thread...)

1) tell 'good natured' horror stories that they will love.

2) Then, when they go to bed, riot their fear. Every shadow becomes a demon and every noise a monster.

3)  take all the spheres they use illuminate the house and leave.

4)Profit.

agreed
