Question

Feruchemists can tap their attributes to gain greater abilities than would humanly be possible. So, since a Connector Ferring can increase their friendships with others, then if a Connector Ferring were to tap enough Connection while being near someone else, would that individual grow to like them more than would be natural? Would they get obsessed with the Ferring or "like" them to a zealous degree? And would the feelings of friendship stay after the Ferring had stopped tapping Connection, or would the formed Connections remain in place?

Sounds somewhat creepy, actually. And that's coming from a Hemalurgic enthusiast.

So I think that as long as Feruchemist is tapping duralumin, other people would like him more and quicker become friends with him. But when he stops, they already "are" friends, and while connections are weakened, the memory and emotions are not. Those people might think less about the Feruchemist, but when they do, they remember all those emotions they experienced with him. Maybe if they tap a lot in short time, there would be some obsession or zealousy, but when he stops, those would decay away after some time to more normal relations

Filling a duraluminmind can be used to reduce other people's awareness of and friendship with the Connector, as these Spiritual Connections become stored away. Tapping it would strengthen Connections or allow the Connector to form relationships faster.

No, unless Connection is a new exception (which is possible), Feruchemy doesnt affect the outside world or any non-self targets.  A Connector can tap and/or fill a metalmind to change how they think and feel about the target (which can be an individual or homeland, etc) and maybe get all the inside jokes even without the memories, but it will not change how the target feels.  Or, as seems more common, you can increase your Connection to a Homeland and get the language and some cultural understanding, but it cant make you a  celebrity that is Loved by everyone else.

Now, if you used an Ettmetal grenade to get around the fundamental target rules, maybe?

Given this WoB I suspect that Connection is an exception which can influence outside things, in some way:

And finally, whether a duralumin compounder could break into a kandra?

Um... yes, possible, yeah.

But Connection is between two people, If one of them is a duralumin ferring storing and tapping that connection, it also affects the other person to which he is connected. It's the same line of connection, if on one end it becomes weaker/stronger, it happens the same on the other. He most likely can’t affect connections that are not his, but all connections he has will influence people he is connected to.

That makes sense. After all, the Ars. Arcanum states that a Connector Ferring can decrease people's awareness of them when storing and increase the speed of relationship building when tapping, which should only work if the Connector Ferring can somehow influence the other person, even if they do so by changing their own Connection, which then affects the other person in question.

Though I bet this means that if a Connector tried to get a group of Zealous followers, they would also affect themselves, which would be kind of weird. Maybe it could be used to help an entire group of people form better cooperation and trust then? Something like Bridge Four but made through Investiture shortcuts.

I guess if you wanted to build a group of fanatical followers, you'd probably be better off using Emotional Allomancy.
