Smye Posted January 13, 2023 Report Share Posted January 13, 2023 While on the Coppermind today I noticed a line about Hoid that didn't quite sit right with me: Spoiler However, after the occupation of Urithiru, when going to challenge Rayse, he realized that a new Vessel had Ascended, and was completely terrified. But in RoW he did realize that Rayse is dead, he wasn't able to use that information before Taravangian wiped his memory of this and remade that conversation. Then Taravangian took out the breaths that held Hoid’s memories, and in so doing, lowered Hoid’s heightening, taking away his perfect pitch.
