A good one for me is "Pretender" by AJR. Most of the ones said before I agree with

Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls, Nutshell by Alice In Chains, Achilles Come Down by Gang of Youths, or the Interstellar soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.

I've plenty of music suggestions, 1,700 liked songs on Spotify certainly helps with that.

@Liahona

Finally, someone else who knows him!

There's a pianist on YouTube by the name of ibi, who has just the perfect aesthetic. Any of his songs are good, but his cover of the first song on the following list is nothing short of hypnotic.

"Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi

"Parade" by Yorushika

"Train Window"/"Only Sorrow" by Yorushika

"Shelter" by Porter Robinson and Madeon

"Run" by Collective Soul

"Maybe" by Collective Soul

"Him" by Collective Soul

"Observation of Thoughts" by Collective Soul (language warning)

"Solitude Standing" by Suzanne Vega

"God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash

"Long Road to Hell" by Avicii

"Broken Arrows" by Avicii

"Migraine" by twenty one pilots

"Gone are the Days" by Kygo

"Freeze" by Kygo

"Swallowed in the Sea" by Coldplay

"A Message" by Coldplay

"In My Place" by Coldplay

"Mingulay Boat Song" by The Longest Johns

"It Is Well with My Soul" by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square

The Killing Kind by marianas trench or something or other is great at all hours but the screaming at the end hits different at night.

Oh and let me describe the extremely specific feeling of listening to Touch Tone Telephone by Lemon Demon at three AM:

The weird gay scientist who lives by you calls you up late at night because he got super high and he needs to tell you about his grand conspiracy theory and his crush on you becomes increasingly obvious the longer he rambles. also there's a cat with a lazer in his eye or something on the album cover which is a W

Great song.

Monsters by Diztord is good too.

If you like rock there's some good songs by Three Days Grace

Ashes Remain is kinda like a Christian rock group.

I consider myself an AJR fan, but I haven't even heard most of those songs. Looks like I need to check them out! :D

Anything Bastille, Weezer, or Muse. Upbeat songs don’t really work for 2 am.

Spoiler

The music I listen to is carefully calculated to fit the teenager stereotype without upsetting my actual music tastes :ph34r:

Yeah, I don't really do upbeat music in general, especially at 2 am.

Forgot "1999", "Way to You", and "Elise" by Gareth Emery.

Also, literally anything by Blonde Maze. She's got a really chill vibe that I absolutely adore. Associations with chilly weather and longing, perfect for the early hours. Favorite songs are "Not All Flowers Bloom", "This is My Goodbye", and "Leaving Home".

Oh, and Porter Robinson.

Isn't this song by Linkin Park, not Imagine Dragons?

Secunda from the Skyrim soundtrack, Dunkelheit by Burzum, Guild Wars 2 Overture (listen to an extended version because it's kinda short), Kaer Morhen from The Witcher 3 soundtrack, Bend by Volumes, and The Death of Peace of Mind by Bad Omens

Sidenote, we should really make a 17th shard playlist where everyone can suggest songs and share their music.
