It streaked toward them and between their group, a cacophony of sharp clangs accompanying it.

Gal opened his eyes to find himself standing at an unfamiliar corridor. He frowned, looking around him. This place seemed a lot darker than the waiting room he was just in.

He heard some clatter from a room down the corridor and turned his head sharply towards it.

It streaked past all of them, but halfway down the hallway, it... glitched. Unable to move, it quivered.

It fuzzed frantically when he got close, then snapped out of the glitch and fled down the hallway.

It led them to an old decrepit looking room with drawings and maps pinned on the walls. The phasing thing vanished.

Gal was taken aback by... Whatever that was. A couple of people passed by and entered a room, following it, seemingly not noticing him. He peered into the room, curious.
