Rayvyn eyed the child. He’s so young…we all are, of course. Not every child should have to go through the pain we did, the pain I did, the pain he feels. Knowing he won’t answer her, she places a small dagger next to the cookie. “You don’t always need to be the weak one. Be brave, little friend,” she says, watching him draw.

After finishing his drawing, the boy seized the dagger and threw it will skill at his own depicted head. Then he collapsed, falling back into tears.

"Sure is. Try not to hit the clock tower on your way up."

"I designed this place as a gateway for wanderers and adventuring types: people without anything better to do, really." Fadran pointed down at the western edge of Maybe St. "Three years ago, people started randomly showing up on a little side quest I was doing. With Nath's help I managed to pinpoint the cause of that phenomena and weave it into the essence of this micro-universe."

"Hmm." Arbiter nodded, while still holding an edge of a grin.

Enter shook his hand. "I'm Enter a username. You?"

"Why hello Enter. I'm...hmm. I probably need a name. Is Dave common enough?"

Icona, now incredibly worried, decided to take drastic measures.

The crayon began to levitate, then lightly tapped the boy on the hand.

Fadran frowned. "I've never met anyone named Dave before."

"Certainly. I'm the only Fadran I've ever met, anyways."

Arbiter Dave grinned "Can't say I've heard that one to often either. Do you happen to know who runs this place?" Dave said, gesturing to the building.

"Me! Kinda. There's also Icona, but he doesn't get out much."

"Oh! Well would you happen to have an open room? I seem to be in needs of lodging."

Which is why he was just celebrating Christmas.

Galard went out and gave Lightning the essential information. He climbed him and they flew to the roof, going around the clock tower. After reaching there, Galard decided to finish for the day - he'll try to catch this glowing man later. And figure out what this Fellowship he just joined actually was.

"Did you really just ask if an inn had any rooms?" Fadran procured a key from his pocket, glancing at the number. "A...28. Just down the hall." He pointed to his left.

Dave shrugged. "I don't know. I've heard of people having to sleep in mangers and such." Dave took the key from Fadran and began to stroll down the hall, whistling a light tune.

"HOLY-" Fadran dashed over to the fallen newcomer. "You okay???"

“Ooow… this has happened to me twice now…” He said, under his breath.

Noticing Fadran, he said, “I-i think so? Though…” He looks at the Inn. “I think I just fell off a roof, so I’m not sure. Also, where the heck am I?”

Rayvyn nodded to herself, glad that he was done crying for the moment. "I'm going to get myself a room, but I'll come back before I go to bed.

The crayon, fortunately, did not seem fazed or offended by this action. Instead it just floated there for a moment.

Klave stepped out of the boy's room and noticed someone who looked like they were in charge next to someone who'd just fallen off the roof. He walked over, holding out a hand to Fadran in greetings. "Hi. I'm Klave. Fadran, right? This your inn?"

"It is, indeed, my inn. Nice to meet you Klave." Fadran shook his hand.

She/her pronouns, thanks!

Rayvyn accepts the key and walks back down the hallway, stopping in the boy's room first to make sure he's okay.
