Based on what you’ve said, Lux would stab him back, and then maybe run, idk. would he continue to fight or run? Does that fit with your character?

Stab him/throw a knife, then run away back into the alleyways while he was wounded. Also, Lux wouldn’t have left the alleyways, so this would occur at the edge.

Saitaku wouldn’t expect him to react that fast, so he’d be shocked enough for that to happen I’ll go add that to my character, unlesss you have anything else you’d want to add/change?

My character wasn't a Radiant (and still isn't) but they spent a lot of time around them because they were curious about Surgebinding, so they might might've met your character and might've ran into the mentor friend depending on how much your people were around. My character does talk to people a lot, so they could've had a brief conversation maybe.

I don't really know what's going on right now, and it'll take me a bit to catch up, but I would be happy to have my characters join a plotline if anyone would like that. Otherwise, I'll start my own thing once I figure out what's going on and go from there.

So, its been one year since Era 8. So far what's happened is a Husked-one fused named Ebon (Hoidslayer's) was hunting down a group in secret called the Crimson Breath and when he attacked one of their hideouts in new hallandren looking for info one of them set off an anti-investiture explosion. And a bunch of people have rushed over to check it out. Kai (Mine) and Cayansa (Ink and Embers') rushed over from the Sphere to help, Starseeker (KSauce's) was already near by and is checking it out, and Perses just showed up looking for Ebon, and Lux (CoderDrag0n's) just showed up to investigate. Kai sent his spren, Skye, off to find Jerrin and ask him if he had or could get some voidlight for Ebon. I was tagged you earlier asking if you wanted to have had Jerrin and Kai have been interacting over the past year, cause we ended Era 8 with the idea of them meeting up and working together to stop crimes that were more than petty in return for the cops not bugging Jerrin. CoderDrag0n says he doesn't care either way. I can go either way. KnightSkye nudged me in this direction, but I can do something else. Jerrin would have just seen Ebon kill a group of guards and go through though, so he'd probably be inclined to follow, but we could just have the alleyway close before he gets through if the preference is that he does not follow.

I was forgetting that Ebon would also be exiting through the alleyway when I originally thought about it. Four does seem a bit more difficult to RP with. I might just think on it for a bit.
