my first book was Rhithmatist, which my brother was reading, so then I read it. I read it in 5th grade, then Reckoners and then I started the Cosmere.

Ahhh, yes. I heard someone talk about a cool book they were reading where people ate metals and could burn them for cool powers. About 2-3 years later, I think, hey, what was that book, I should read it. Then I got out my kindle, and started reading Mistborn. I heard about the Cosmere later from the same person, and have read the whole thing. Also almost done with The Reckoners, and about to read The Rithmatist.

My uncle suggested Mistborn to me in 4th grade. I read the first book, thoroughly enjoyed it, read the rest, enjoyed them slightly less, and forgot about him. And then in 7th grade I read Stormlight, realized how absolutely incredible Sando is and since then I've been steadily getting worse.

Steadily better

I read the Rithmatist first, then Elantris, then Warbreaker, then Mistborn, then Steelheart, then Stormlight, then Cytoverse, then Mistborn 2, then the Alcatraz books, then SP books. Since then I have reread all but Warbreaker, which I have on hold at my library

I was halfway through the existing Wheel of Time books when Robert Jordan passed away. I saw the announcement that Brandon had been chosen to finish the series using RJs notes and figured I'd check out some of his work. I read Elantris and was immediately certain this was the right guy to finish up WoT. I've since read everything he's done outside of the Alcatraz books. He attended the TarValon.net 10th anniversary convention in Charleston, SC and I got to meet him and get an autograph for Memory of Light

I read Rithmatist when I was like 10, and really wanted a new one, but then got pulled into less fantasy books. I read the weird super-hero ish ones a while ago, don't remember what they're called, wasn't a fan. However, I began to want to read more fantasy after reading some Pratchett. It is rather hard to find non-explicit fantasy books, and my mom recommended Brandon. I read Stormlight Archive 1-3. Waiting for ROW to get back to the library. I listened to Elantris on audiobook. I'm 1/3 of the way through Mistborn 1. I'll use slang from the Cosmere around the house, and when I called my non-cosmere aware sister "sule" I decided I needed to find a fan site.
