I kinda want to re read Percy jackson but i gave the books away and don't have them anymore

I made some blue Percy Jackson cookies. They are kind of turquoise/green because of the egg yolk and butter but they still taste delicious.
Here is a picture

Heyo, retired Percy Jackson fan. Been so long since I've read the first book that I remember more about the first movie than I do the books.

But I did listen to the Percy Jackson musical recently so it's a bit more fresh in my mind and reminded me of how much I loved the original series 'n stuff.

I have big hopes for this series, I think there's way to little greek mythology in modern media

I kind of re-read them in audiobook format from this channel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G7BEH727eY

I had to download them as audio files to equilize the audio a bit and throw them onto a audiobook app, but it's honestly a better read than the official audiobook and actually free

if audiobook can be your kind of thing, I reccomend givin it a shot ;)

This is here? Yay!

Hello, Percy Jackson fan and general mythology enjoyer here. How are you all doing?

I'm good, how about you? Also what's your favorite character? Mine is either Annabeth or Thalia.

My brother says I read him Percy Jackson better than the audiobooks so… yeah, I’m just gloating to myself over here.

Good job. My brother always complains when I read to him.

Oh also, anyone hyped for the tv show?

sorta, I think they did a good portion of the casting wrong (Walker Scobell as Percy was a genius casting, I just wish he'd had his hair dyed tho). I hope it's good. Rick being heavily involved gives me hope. (Logan Lerman would've been the perfect Poseidon. All other actors for him pale in comparison.)

Thank you *smug grin* I’m still happy about it

Um … YES. I’m really excited to see where they’ll go with it, especially having Hermes in the first book(season). :D

I'm cautiously optimistic

my brother reads to himself and would get mad if I even tried to read to him. Maybe when I get a nephew and/or niece.

YES!!!! The cast looks SOOOO great (Walker Scobell especially omg) and the teaser- those cabins- it looks AMAZING!!!! I watch the teaser when i'm sad. I'm so excited!! it seems like the people making it really care about the series. I have very high hopes :D

Hehe i'm gonna go watch the teaser again, thanks for reminding me

Cautiously optimistic is probably my stance toward the series, too. I mean, Riordan's involved, so they won't massacre his work (it will set a record for Disney, IMO - but hey, we'll have to wait and see), but...

Every single time I watch the teaser (which, granted, wasn't many times) I get to see the signs in camp half-blood in all their horrifying glory. Meaning, I can see what Greek letters they used in the place of Latin ones, and how much they fit there. One sign says StaβlΣs - which, I'm afraid, reads stablss at best. Yes, I'm nitpicking, but in a show on Greek mythology you could at the very least check what greek letter makes which sound. At the very least if it isn't fixed, I hope someone points out that it's actually a sigma but since they're all Americans and it almost looks like an E they wrote it this way.
