Silhouette strained his ears, but he couldn't hear a reply. Storms. Looks like he was on his own. He watched the darkness carefully as he slid. It seemed to be almost...pulsing. He'd have to ask the others about it.

Wizard jumped down the slide using the surge of abrasion and soon caught up to and passed Silhouette.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette was enjoying life sliding down the slide until he was knocked over and hit his head on the side of the slide. "Wizard?" he shouted in confusion. "Be more careful! And wait for me at the bottom!"

[EmulatonStromenkiin he/him]

Random Fellow set the slide on fire.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette began to notice the metal slide heating up as he continued his descent. It has to have been more than half an hour by now, he thought. He gasped as he noticed the end of the slide- it was covered by a pillar of fire

Nameless managed to put up a cushion of air and stop himself just before running into the fire.

Doc cursed, and covered himself in flame retardant orange marmalade, the first thing he could think of. He passed through the flames, and the orange marmalade burned off, leaving him unscathed.

"Dammit, Fellow! Don't do that!"

Symph promptly walked in on the scene, the proceeded to magically summon deadly hippos which quenched out the fire. 

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

Wizard collided into a hippo at the end of the slide and the hippo went flying.

Nameless sighed, staring through the fire. "All right guys, just wait a minute. I'll be able to make a gateway through this fire in an hour or so."

Random Fellow changed the fire to coolfire, which is like the shadow of a flame, not burning or destroying, just giving off light.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette celebrated this momentous occasion, happy with the outcome. "Well, we made it down the 'thirty minute slide'. What's next?"

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

Wizard grins. "We must eat! For the fight to Defeat the speak and seperate Emma from the Nethergrim, is just beyond the next door."

Doc vanished, and was replaced by Calano.

For a second, Calano was dressed in a long deep purple trench coat, with glasses on his face, and laugh lines around his face. The clothes under the trench coat were unornamented and not important. What was important, was the expression on his face for the split second.

Before returning to his normal state of grim seriousness, in his white lab coat, Calano looked... younger. More alive, more real. He was happy.

And then it was gone, and the Doctor was there.

"Here we are..." Muttered Calano.

Thaidakar kept silent through this all, following along. Finally he said, "hmmm... I don't think we need to separate Emma from the Nethergrim."

Calano turned sharply towards Thaidakar.

"Explain. Now."

He hesitated, "I think the Nethergrim and Emma might be too intertwined to be taken apart without killing Emma. I think we can convince Emma and the nether grim to tell us their plans so we can help them if they are good. Which I'm beginning to think they might have. You have said before that Emma was a good person. well, shall we prove it?" Thaidakar mused, he fingered the pommel of a dagger.

Calano's expression darkened. "So you want to leave Emma entwined with this otherworldy being who might be doing horrible things to her?"

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

"that is not what I'm saying, Calano." said Thaidakar, "I'm saying that if we don't she could die. Would you rather she remains alive with a being we know almost nothing about or dead beyond reach? I'd assume you'd want her alive, no matter who she was combined with."

"If it meant she wasn't possibly being tortured, I'd want her dead. At least then, she'd have peace. Don't assume you know more, Thaidakar. You're on thin ice."
