Silhouette stopped for a minute. "I wonder what secrets he's keeping...how could one little basement be this important?" he wondered. He let out a breath he'd been holding in and started climbing down the stairs.

A myriad of voices hiss. "Stay away." "No come in. It has been years since we have had a new challenger." "NO leave and do not return." "Past this point is the point of no return. Turn away"

Silhouette sighs. "Calano, knock it off." He continues down the stairs and steps onto the basement floor.

Bookwyrm walks into the room and accidentally falls into a hole in the floor, landing immediately in the basement next to Silhouette.

"Storm it," he says. "I just broke a rule, didn't I?"

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

A power latches onto Bookwyrm and Silhouette and yanks them further into the darkness.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm yelps and summons his Shardblade in an attempt to slice through whatever is pulling him into the darkness.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette looks at Bookwrym in panic as the basement door slams closed and the hole in the ceiling is filled. "I guess we're stuck down here." He feels around the room in the darkness, pressing his hands against the wall. "You see a light switch anywhere? Or is it one of those storming investiture powered lighting systems." He put his hands in his pocket. "I got nothing"

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm summons a blue flame in his hand. 

"Does this help?"

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

The hallway starts slamming closed and forces Bookwyrm and Silhouette forward.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm briefly attempts to slice through one of the closing doors with his Shardblade, just to see what would happen.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette smiles. "That's perfect." He pulls a vial from a fold in his robes and drinks it. "I have some pewter that might help in a fight."

Silhouette punches the wall. "You know what they say," he says with a faint smile. "If you're ever angry, just punch the wall."

"Oh, that's a good idea." Bookwyrm takes one of his vials and drinks it. He also makes sure he has plenty of Stormlight.

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

As the blade connects with the wall a force ripples through the wall and it starts glowing with arcane symbols. The blade is thrown back from the wall.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm dismisses his blade and goes to study the symbols, but is blocked as another door closes. He is forced to keep moving.

"Where is this leading us, anyway?" Bookwyrm asks.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Just now, The Bookwyrm said:

Silhouette shrugs. "Beats me." He narrowly dodges a pillar of concrete as part of the ceiling collapses. "What the...?" He inspects the ground. "Hey, there's a shred of paper here! It says," he picks it up and examines it. "Branbom Gamderson!!"

Bookwyrm raises a skeptical eyebrow. 

"Let me see that paper-"

He is cut off as a door slams in his face and sends him careening down the hallway, deep into the darkness.

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

TO THE MAZE AND THE ABOMINATIONS writes the wall.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm burns pewter and tin to clear his head, and stands up while using Stormlight to heal. He reads the wall.

"Oh, stormwinds," he says, then turns around to see...

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette yelps. "BOOKWYRM!" he starts to run towards his direction but another wall forms in front of his path, with the words TO THE MAZE AND THE ABOMINATIONS. He reads the writing, and in anger punches the wall again. "Hey wall talking person thingy!! Where's the maze!? How do I get to Bookwyrm?"

YOU MUST ENTER ALONE writes the wall.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette groans. "Why didn't I think to bring anything else? I only have pewter." He looks up at the wall. "Can you give me a minute to prepare?"

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm sees a vast maze before him. 

He starts walking, then turns left. Then left again. Then straight. Then right. Then-

Wait, he thinks. What am I doing?

Bookwyrm Lashes himself upward to get above the maze.

Bookwyrm lowers himself back to the ground.

He keeps walking.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Silhouette enters the darkness and begins the maze. He puts his hand against the left side of the wall and walks, following the paths the maze leads him to.

Meanwhile, Nameless wandered the basement, having gotten lost trying to find the proper place to install the new door for the basement.
