Other Spren

What do you think spren from different shards would be? Other than the three we know for certain have spren, the ones on Roshar.

Spren predate the Shards on Roshar. They didn't come from the Shards as much as they were changed by their arrival.

That said, we have spren-like entities on other planets:

• Scadrial has the mists, which are a semi-sentient manifestation of Investiture
• Sel has seons and skaze
• Threnody arguably has the Shades, though they're not quite the same
• One of the secret projects

I probably have forgotten some, but I think those examples (aside from Shades) are what you're looking for.

I know this, but I am saying that if there were spren or similar entities from other shards, what would they be called.

EX: Timespren, from harmony, has limited capability of Bendalloy and Cadmium mistings.

Given that Honor and Cultivation can apparently combine to form essentially anything, the answer to this is probably "whatever Brandon wants when it becomes relevant", lmao

If the point is speculation, maybe the more relavant question might be:

What do you think the Spren would be like if one or more Shard(s) other than Cultivation or Honor had gone to Roshar

(E.G. "if Ruin and Preservation had settled on Roshar instead of creating Scadrial - what would Spren and Surges be like now?" or "If Invention had come to Roshar instead of Honor?")

Well we know that the spren and Roshar predate the shattering and so not all spren are from a specific shard and the reason there are Honorspren, and Cultivationspren is because those two have invested a portion of themselves into Roshar, effectivly becoming a portion of the land which is why they have their own spren.  If another shard invested themselves into Roshar, then they very likely will eventually have their own spren as that is how investure manifests itself on Roshar.  Like ShardlessVessal said,

This shows that all shard-invested planets will have some form of at least partially sapient investure as a side effect of a shard investing the planet.  As for spren of Harmony, I think they would have more of a harmonious personality that would try to be the peacemakers and enforce harmony.  Endownmentspren would likely try to be gift givers and be able to weakly endow like a very temporary "blessing" on a person.  Another question could be, what the magic systems might look like from different combinations of shards, as we get surgebinding from the combination of Honor and Cultivation.  Any ideas?

well, we got feruchemy from the combination of Ruin and Preservation, and the Dor from Dominion and Devotion. Say, Autonomy and mercy, maybe something involving people specifically as opposed to acting on the environment?
