#18 as it reminds me of a book series I read recently that the first book is called Blood Heir and there are people in the world with a type of magic called affinities and they have an affinite for a certain element and the main character has a affinity for blood. They're still amazing though.

That sounds... really interesting, i'm gonna go add that to my TBR list. I also agree with you, #18 was my favorite one to write, and it's the longest one I've written so far. It is also the darkest lol. Thank you for the kind words :333

If you need books to read look at my about me as I am compiling a list of all books I have read. PREPARE TO BE SWAMPED BY BOOKS!

I'm going to do that now. Not that I need more books on my TBR list.....

I put out about 1-2 scenes every 2-3 days, so there will def be more.

Like right now :D.

Scene #21: Scene heavily inspired by Saturn, by Sleeping At Last, and very poetic.

Spoiler

You once said to me, that no matter where you were, the light would still burn bright.

You once said to me, that the universe was made to be seen by my eyes.

You once said to me, that you’d never leave.

And then you left.

The universe lost its color. The light seemed to dim. The stars lost their courage.

Infinite suddenly seemed to be finite.

When you left, you left me alone, with the words you’d said.

With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite.

You taught me the courage that comes from the stars.

You said that even after you were gone, even after death, light would carry on endlessly.

I sat there, crying, screaming, begging you to come back.

Did you hear me?

I tried to write it down, but I could never find a pen.

I had to ask you to say it all again, but you said you were out of time.

So now I’m left to sift through your words, or at least what I remember of them.

So, when you return, if you ever return, I’ll explain.

I’ll explain myself.

I’ll explain the infinite.

I’ll explain how rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist.

dammit im s a d lmao

I have seven periods a day each at 50 minutes and a five minute passing period. It is just how the periods are numbered as some are numbered differently at schools near where I live.

Oh weird. My periods are 85 minutes long with a 2 minute passing period. Probably cause my weird charter school. We're strange in a lot of ways.

Scene #22: Inspired by the teaser trailer for Vantage, by Halfy & Winks. A couple dances silently.

Spoiler

The heat is fast approaching.

I sit next to my love.

She is crying.

Why am I not crying?

I place my hand over hers, gently, and she raises her gaze to mine.

“May I have this last dance?” I ask softly.

She accepts silently, taking my hand, and I gently pull her to her feet.

As we assume a simple waltz, the unconscious movements a result of years of practice, tears begin to stream down her face.

I pull her closer, until her head rests on my chest. Her body silently shivers with sobs, as the light outside the window grows brighter.

“I’m scared.”

“I know,” I say softly as I kiss the top of her head, “I know you are.”

“Aren’t you?”

The light grows brighter, the heat slowly increasing, but I don’t respond.

“Yes,” I say quietly.

She takes the lead in the dance, and leads me through the steps.

Left.

Right.

Back. Forward.

Twirl.

She smiles sadly. “You’ve been practicing,” She says.

I smile back, and place a gentle kiss on her forehead.

I begin to sweat, as the heat climbs in temperature ever quicker. The light is nearly blinding.

Left.

Right.

Back. Forward.

Twirl.

Tears finally begin to stream down my face, as I finally realize what’s about to happen.

“I…” I draw a breath, “I love you.”

“I know. And I love you too.”

We dance, silently.

The heat heightens. The light crescendos.

"Mundus terminatur, et mundi finio."

A fireburst breaks through the wall, and then I know nothing more.

please help me before i start crying.
