I have a theory:

Two people will become the vessels of Odium, Cultivation and Honor, with Honor divided between the two of them.

For instance, Dalinar might ascend to Odium and half of Honor, becoming an Odium-heavy shard of War. Someone else would ascend to Cultivation and the other half of Honor. Maybe Lirin would be Honor-vation, as he’s got Edgedancer vibes but is honorable to a fault.

Each would be an active shard, unlike Harmony, especially War. War might be even more motivated to take over the cosmere than Rayse was, because of the Intent of the new shard.

Cultiv-honor (can anyone come up with a real name?) would have the potential to be a very “good” Shard, depending on who the vessel is and how the two shards combine.

I am only raising this as a possibility. I wouldn’t bet on it happening.

Hmmm. I’m not sure I see the logic.

if you go back into RoW, around when Navani first bonds the sibling She calls the tone for Towerlight the "soul of science"

Yeah, the Rythm of Tower (Honor + Cultivation) is called Rythm of Sience Itself. But I thing better name for Intent of the Sahrd would be "Progress"

I'd like to think that science is just one aspect of Honor-vation, the aspect that was most relevant to Navani, and maybe the aspect that the Sibling got. I think of science as being more about investigation than cultivation. There's surely a lot more to cultivation, anyway. But who knows? Maybe Ruin-Preservation could have been several things but ended up as Harmony, and maybe there are several things Honor-Cultivation could be but it will be Science.

Also, how annoyed would some people be if Lirin ended up being the hero and Dalinar the villain? Personally, I like Lirin, but I know a lot of people don't. If we had to root for him against a poor tragic Dalinar, some people might find that hard to swallow.

I, though, like Lirin so much I'm going to be annoyed if he doesn't become a much more major character. I want him to accidentally bond an Honorspren, struggle with the concept of protecting people while maintaining his pacifism, and clash with Dalinar who is desperate for every Windrunner to fight, and for Kaladin to get drawn into the conflict. Or for Lirin to cure the Heralds by bullheadedly going his own way while everyone else is looking in the wrong places for treatments, or for him to repeatedly reject a spren's attempts to get him to bond and then somehow save the world by ascending to Honor or by doing something else entirely, or for him to be twisted by incredible circumstances into murdering someone and then driven by guilt to run away or to go mad, or for Lirin to end up screaming at the Honorspren that they aren't honorable enough and the Honorspren to have no answer to that, or.... There are just so many cool things that could happen with Lirin. I really want Brandon to make him a main character, or at least a very major character. It will be such a waste if he doesn't.

Rant over.
