Dark One Graphic Novel Creative Team, Cover Art, and Release Date Revealed!

So awesome! Art cover is legit. Can't wait to see what the end result is from this trio. 

I really like the art style! Hyped for it!

So while they were not the main writers they did write a number of issues for Batman & Robin Eternal and the final arc of Grayson. They also wrote/created Joyride.

I'm pretty meh.

White sand already showed that sanderson's style is not fit for graphic novels. too much plot and dialogue to be conveyed.

I'm hopeful because this is a very different situation. I genuinely feel that the White Sand graphic novel suffered because it was being adapted from an existing prose novel. The were trying to retrofit a story into a medium it wasn't meant for. Contrast that with this comment from Brandon (from the announcement linked above):

After five false starts, it came to life when I imagined how it would be if the pictures I had in my mind were actual pictures. And then all of a sudden, in a couple weeks, a full and rich outline came together. I’ve since been excited to find the right people to adapt this into the visual story it wanted and needed to be.

Dark One was fundamentally NOT working as a prose novel, it wasn't working in Brandon's traditional style. The medium of comics might fit it better. Can we be certain it will? No, of course not. But personally I choose to be hopeful, not dismissive.

Since the magic system is electricity based shouldn't they have advance technology.

I literally cannot tell you how excited I am for this.  

Hmm.... Brandon Sanderson didn't do a long series for white sand, and only two for this. Is there a pattern? Also, this is his second graphic novel series. Is this going to be a side to his main novels? Graphic Novels? Plus, even though white sand wasn't the best, he may be getting better and better.

This art looks pretty sweet. I'm excited for the graphic novel than the show as I don't watch much TV. I'll check it out cause it's Brandon though. I have to do something while I wait for more cosmere!
