Feathertips and Featherblades

We are the Feathertips and Featherblades! The loyal honor guard of Our Lady, FeatherWriter, we serve her dutifully. The Feathertips, whose captain I am, are the darkeyed spearmen and the Featherblades, their captain is Natans, are the lighteyed swordsmen. Lady Feather pays us in fanfic and we do our best to support and protect her.

The motto for the Feathertips is Strength and Freedom. Attached is a simple logo for us. (Feel free to submit a better one:) ) Join us to serve Lady Feather!

Edit: Despite my jokes above, we are an HONORguard and have massive amounts of honor. I can't speak for those lighteyed Featherblades, but my Feathertips are all sworn to a Code of Honor.

I'm a little late, but Natans reporting to duty in the Featherblades =)

 

Our sacred duty in the Featherblades honor guard was bestowed by the Stormfather to protect serve, and otherwise,suport Lady Feather in her holy mission, providing this community with the most awesome Fanfic's. In this I serve with my honor and plegde myself  until death =)

Unseen string hum, tensioned wood creak. Feathers flutter to the ground. The bowstring snaps.

We are Scout. We are Ranger. We are Featherbows.

For no harm shall reach a Feathers breadth of her Ladyship.

The Featherbowmen (or Featherarchers) are the guards of Lady Feather who specialise in ranged weaponry. Like their brothers, the Featherblades and Feathertips, their weapons are tipped with feathers, but unlike their allies, they are not as public. Within the Featherbows ranks, it is felt that one should be able to strike down an enemy at great range, without anyone noticing their presence.

The Featherbows make no distinction between light- and dark-eyes. Their motto is "Stilled Feathers", and their symbol is of a curved Feather, with a strung arrow on a blue field.
