Notting the having Mistborn for the reading, hasing the copy for hearing. Finding the password for the kindling app for the e reading. Wising the findings is hoping. Whating to calling you? (What would your Eastern Street name be? Example Lestebornes (spelling?) is " Lefting I'm born" meaning "I've been abandoned.") being of fun canning the be. Wasing the working for naming of mine. (Trying to make a good one, that applies to me, and can be abused to sound absurd like Lestebornes. Will have one soon.) (Edit: I think I got it) Ninesbesixed, be sixing in nine. (translated, and then evolved from I'm the sixth of nine siblings.)

Galladon as a World Hopper is straight up awesome. Plus him being a pessimist/realist, yet loyal to a great cause regardless, makes him perfect. (Assuming the 17thshard is a great cause...) As far as his Elantrian Magic. Since you can jury rig powers to work on other planets, I suspect the hoppers have figured out at least how to for most systems. I was thinking Galladon has a fabrial, with an Aon Rao on it. Crafted such that, when activated, it acts as a portable Elantris allowing him to not be region locked, and then, he uses stormlight to Power his other Aons. Kolo? But now I'm thinking, since the Aons don't seem to go away until the user stops it, he may have to use the stormlight, which does go away after a while, so his illusions wouldn't stick the way it did when he and Raoden went on their undercover field trip. So he'd need to have a supply of infused spheres. So I see him carrying two Fabrials. One giving him a portable Elantris, and one allowing him to draw on stormlight to make other Aons. And carrying enough spheres to replace the ones in the fabrials that get spent, or leaving his fabrials out in the storms. However he does it. Even being a pessimist. He has shown to be very resourceful, and not far from wise. ugh, Hama would put me through Doloken for all these kayana theories. Hope I'm not being a rulo. Kolo?

Wearing all white, the assassin tonight I must be sure that I'm seen The king of Alethkar must die And he will, by me The storm is swirling as the light is brought inside. Couldn't keep it in, my Honor won't try. As I come in, I'll let them see. Be the truthless I'll always have to be. Reveal, don't feel, but let them know And now they know! Let it go, let it go Can't hold it back anymore Let them know, let them know Full lash and slam the door. Here I am, and you may try But the storm rages on Understand, you're gonna die.

I wonder if Sazed would have given Marsh Larasium at some point. Making him a more useful agent of Harmony. I don't think Sazed would have to worry about him being too powerful.., if he needed to he could take control of Marsh. It would be useful to have Marsh being full Mistborn, if there was certain heroes needing to be trained by the boogy man.

Eating of the people? Wasing the missing of somethings I am.

So how many spikes did Marsh have total? We don't have a for sure answer on that do we? Also, what has he collected after HoA that we don't know about. I like what you listed Arcanist. And I fully agree with the linch pin being Feruchemical gold... Maybe that's just standard to keep inquisitors alive? Can spikes only hold one power? My question bwing, if I had a sufficient enough sized spike, would I be able to steal all four physical allomancy powers? Sorry kind of a tangent, but if spikes did one power only, than we could try to figure based on everything we've seen Ironeyes do, and that the coppermind says he has upwards of 20 spikes, we'd know what powers he has. We can be sure he's basically mistborn, we know he can Feruchemical gold heal (maybe even compound but I doubt that, he seemed to still feel pain, and didn't heal as fast as miles) and we know he can compound age. So just to get those powers... How many spikes do we need?

"Real Life" Allomancy or How the second Trilogy might work
Cstryon replied to Pathfinder's topic in Mistborn
I agree with parts of the two posts above me, but here's how I see it. Aluminum can be abundant, but would be very expensive. Pretty much everyone wanting an edge against the sneaky mistings using there powers to gain over others, will be buying and hording aluminum. However if the aluminum isn't allomantically pure enough, would it still be inert? Would it be all "aluminum" that is expensive, or would it just be the aluminum made pure enough? -
Well I guess it depends on what exactly storing identity means. Is identity your spiritual and cognitive self? And is storing anything accessible to this identity? If so than we have something weird going on. If I stored my identity, then my physical self wouldn't have access to the metalmind anymore. But if using a metalmind technically just requires the ability, than having a blank identity would give me access to any metalmind.

"Real Life" Allomancy or How the second Trilogy might work
Cstryon replied to Pathfinder's topic in Mistborn
The Set might very well be breeding allomancers trying to make a mistborn. I'm picturing babies being rescued from the Set during the AoL events.... These babies of course would need to be adopted, and probably end up in orphanages. Depending on how long this breeding has been happening, or will happen, it's possible that allomancy will become much more common. Also, considering the advantages of being born with metal arts abilities, I could picture arranged marriages (house names seem to still be important, and marriage seems to be used as gaining power for houses and not just love) being set up to have children with more chance of being misting, and ferrings. I think it's very possible that by modern times, metal arts will be much more common, and often preferred traits. -
I could see Harmony taking issue with Odium, if Odium started causing more havoc to the Cosmere (if he doesn't already have a problem with it). Having the intent of harmony, I'd imagine once he has more understanding of the Cosmere, he might take action to stop the disharmony.

Wasing the wanting the talking. Notting the seeing the speaking. Starting the speaking. (Let's work on our Eastern Slang here people! I didn't see any threads on this. Rules are, you have to speak in slang, if you need to say something in English, put it in parentheses.)

Theory of the 'sixteen metals' and the '2 new metals'
Cstryon replied to TheBlackReaper's topic in Mistborn
Wasn't there a WoB that there were 50 something metals? Does anyone have a link to that? I could see the potential of there being hundreds of alloys. The third trilogy might be full of combinations, dualborns, twinborn, fullborn, larasium additions, spiked. -
"Real Life" Allomancy or How the second Trilogy might work
Cstryon replied to Pathfinder's topic in Mistborn
I could picture a lot of signs. "Metallic Arts strictly prohibited" "Emotional Allomancy unlawful in this court room" "Coinshot/Lurcher X-ing" "For Thug/Brute use only" And more: "Warning: Seekers on premises at all times" "Please deposit all metal minds before entering" "steel running lane" "Aluminum hats sale today!"- 148 replies

We all need to develop strong coping skills.... When I feel "the Mood" after finishing a book, I cope by... Crap, reading the 17th Shard forums, the Coppermind Wiki, and rereading... I have some work to do. Is it excusable if the book is prescribed by a professional? I believe Brandon Sanderson has recommended his books... So it's legit right?
