  1. Are you talking about the NPC's that I need to get killed? I'm just looking for Cameo characters to die in the opening Writeup, as in the books, Bleeder kills 4 people to start the gunfight. If you have a character you are willing to let me kill, feel free to tell me and I will make sure they die.
  2. Alright, the Player list has been updated. Please speak up if I missed you signing up, or missed your RP name.
  3. Yes. Unless someone points out some way to gain advantage using this.
  4. You can vote to Disperse the Party in the same way you vote for a player, and you can vote to lynch and to disperse on the same turn. Hmm, I'm not sure yet. Give me a bit to figure out what the Order of Actions is. Bleeder can only die by being lynched. Dowser will be a Smuggler and a Dowser. Let's say that on Cycle 4, only one person voted. That would mean whoever they voted on would be lynched. But, if a Smuggler were to cancel that vote, then there would be a global tie, where everyone had the same number of votes, so everyone would get lynched. Basically, that ability is in the game to prevent 1 person from deciding to kill evenyone. The Extortionist can't control the same player twice in a row, but they can have two different people target the same player twice in a row. Nah. You can send 1 PM per cycle, and Each role can be used once per cycle. (With the Exception of the Bartender, who can be used every other cycle) You sure can. Glad to have you! At the beginning of the game, I will PM you and tell you what your role and Alignment are. Each turn, you can reply to that message with what action you want to take. When PM'ing another player, Please do add me to the conversation so that I can make sure everyone is following the rules. I am going to be lenient with PM mistakes for the first 2 Turns, as this PM system is non-standard, but from Turn 3 on, I'll start publishing PM's that weren't supposed to be sent.
  5. MR: The Auction of Lord Winsting It has been weeks since Lord Winsting announced the auction of his latest painting Woman in Ash. Invitations to this exclusive auction have been extremely hard to come by, but are well worth the weeks spent posturing, making promises, and fighting for one of the seats in the room. Finally, you have received your invite. All you have to do is RVSP for your chance to own not just Woman in Ash but the vote of Lord Winsting. Hopefully Lord Winsting’s men are up to the task of keeping the Auction secret and safe. Factions: Private Messages Limited. Every player as a non action may send one message of any length to any other player. These cannot be redirected, roleblocked, or eavesdropped upon. Each Message must at the top of the message have the cycle it was sent. (You don't have to make a new convo each time, just post in the actual message what cycle it is) Roles Housekeeping Player List Quick Links:
  6. That's always the trouble with that argument. You can think it yourself, but as soon as you post it, it becomes an invalid argument for everyone else. I do agree though, and trust Sart, so I'm going to move my vote to CadCom. That should give 3 options for the lynch, and hopefully force more people to post and vote.
  7. This honestly seems pretty reasonable. Obviously I am not an eliminator, But I'd feel pretty good about lynching the second set.
  8. Excellent! That's everyone. No inactive deaths tomorrow! And yeah, my vote on you was an extreme stretch. I just didn't see anything else votable in the first turn at that point.
  9. Drake had an argument about that in cycle 2. can't remember what it was, but maybe that's what made you think it? But no, if I had been an elim with Rae, I would have voted on her in revenge for her betrayal of me!
  10. Turn 2 Analysis: I'm adding God King, Karnage and DrakeMarshall to my trusted list. God King's Paranoia about the folks who voted on Arraenae feels very village to me, as does Karnage's vote on Striker. I can't read Drake one way or the other, but he's contributing a lot and seems to agree with me a lot, so I read him as too skilled to risk killing. Dang it @DrakeMarshall ! Stop telling people I'm good at this game! I want to live!!!! =P Also, stop hypothesizing about a Rae/God King/Joe Elim team! Turn 3 and Onwards analysis will be coming later if at all. For now though, I am suspicious of Aman, CadCom, Elkanah, and Zillah, as I don't have reason to trust them as of the end of cycle 2. I'll vote for whichever of them seems to most likely to be lynched. Probably Elkanah, since Zillah might die of Inactivity.
  11. Wait did I miss something? What's Sheeping?
  12. Hi guys, I'm finally in a spot where I have both motivation and time, so I'm rereading the game. I wanted to post my thoughts so far in case I get interrupted and can't come back. I've read the whole game, but only really analyzed Turn 1. So far; I think that Elbereth, Megasif, Sart, Fura, and Archivist are villagers. My gut insists that Zillah is an elim. I trust Mega and Sart because they both put Arraenae into the lead in votes at different times. I trust the Archivist because they voted on Silberfarben at a time when Arraenae could have been saved. I trust Elbereth and Fura for various misunderstandings of the rules and random interactions they had. (These two are much weaker reads) I have a gut distrust if Zillah because of how they were talking to Xino (who died) about God King. My gut says they decided to off Xino partially out of annoyance, and partially because of all the clever codes they were making. If no one has responded by the time I've analysed Turn 2, I'll edit that analysis into this post rather than double post.
  13. Hi! I'm here, barely. Things are a bit rough on the home front right now, but i'll be able to do a full read tomorrow. For now though, i'm not suspicious of any of the people currently being voted on.
  14. Wait, the game started today? I legitimately thought it was starting on monday. Haha, nice. I'm definetly going to get a lot of that this game. *Noooooo* He got poke voted to death in QF16 by me, let him live! One: I'm used to it. It's almost a status symbol to me as it usually denotes a player that the majority of the other players think are good. Two: the new thing excusing reasoning is lame. I'm one of the oldest players who still plays, and I'm genuinely terrible at this game. Being new or being old is not something I think should be used to excuse or give weight to reasoning. Ah, thanks Elkanah. Honestly doing a Stink play sounds kinda fun. And same on the RP. Definitely need to do that.
  15. @Elbereth, I would very much like to know if you're playing in this game. Either way, Joseph, the former fortman and former Mutineer is signing up for another shot.
  16. I'm feeling much less certain about lynching The God King. Unfortunately, I don't have any other suspicions right now. I'll be rereading again to try to find someone else to look at.
  17. Can we stop making sweeping statements that Alignments are more likely to act one way or the other? People being lynched are often plenty anxious for their own safetly regardless of alignment. I don't appreciate you attacking me instead of my arguments. I realize there's nothing you can really do to defend yourself, whether Villager or Elim, but there's nothing I can do to help with that except ask that you give explanations for your views. Specifically, explaining why you so fervently prefered a Jailing over a lynching would go a long way to casting your actions in a more innocent light. I will also apologize for unwittingly aiding in the anti-code discussion. It shouldn't have gone so far, as it's not all that differnt from RP, which a lot of people already skip over. I know that this is a weak apology, but it's all i have. I hope the rest of the game is more enjoyable for you.
  18. Something went around his shoulder, and Porana froze up immedietly. He knew that sensation, he had felt it half an hour ago when a ghost interupted his lunch with the Ambassador. Slowly, he turned his head to the side to see who was talking. It was him. "Oh, uh, hello mr president, hello again? I uh, I'll take that toheartbutIhavetogoBye!" Porona sprinted straight forward, away from the ghost of the man who thought themself alive, and ducked around a corner. He slammed himself into a wall, panting, and dug his phone out of his pocket. Shaking, he dialed his wife's number. "Honey, how do I perform an exorcism? I need to know right freaking now." ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As I stated last night, voting for The_God_King.
  19. Anyone else want to post their thoughts before the night ends? @Fifth Scholar you said you had thoughts?
  20. Okay, thoughts on Cycle 1/summary of what I think were important posts: @The_God_King voted with Elkanah, constantly tried to discredit information, constantly tried to get people to go for a Jail rather than a full lynch, and during the night, said they had a PM with Elkanah. At this point, I think they're a Crystal Knight Criminal. I think they revealed they had a PM with Elkanah because they thought it would clear them as there's no reason for two Elims to have a PM together, but they needed to have a PM for Elkanah to use glass on them. Neither of them have a non-faction ability that requires a Pm target, so them starting together only helps them. Also throughout this night, they've been casting suspicion on those who tried to get Elkanah lynched rather than jailed, casting suspicion on the people who helped generate information. I think they're a Criminal due to how often they've been trying to get people in jail rather than lynched, and because it's just a good role for them to have. If King got lynched first, they would be able to help protect their partner from the lynch via Crime Votes. I admit, I may be tunneling a bit because King's play style of discrediting the Day 1 lynch really grated on me, so I've been going back and forth on them. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? During Day 1, once I voted on Elkanah, there were only three other votes that weren't on Elkanah (I think.) Coda, Elkanah, and Fifth Scholar. Coda voted on Sart right after me, then didn't post again once it looked like Elkanah was in danger. Elkanah voted on Elandera as some sort of joke. I don't really understand that, but /shrug. And Fifth Scholar voted on Coda at almost the end of the cycle, expressly to defend Elkanah, but also wasn't really a good place to put it if they wanted to save them? I don't think any of them are actually Crystal knights. None of them really fought all that hard to save Elkanah.(Though, as Sart says, Fifth's vote did nearly result in Elkanah being imprisoned instead of lynched.) In fact, the only person who did was The_God_King.
  21. Ha! Now we can do some analysis! Which I will do once I'm not busy at home. Hopefully before the end of the night.
  22. Well now I'm even more suspicious of Elkanah. You're voting for someone who added a second vote to you, with actual reasoning, rather than someone who added a third or later vote to someone else. You're accusing Elandera of Bandwagoning (She's not) while ignoring the actual bandwagoners.
