    I would almost recommend starting in book 5 and going from there, then read the first 4 after you know the series is good.

    Well in-game we've had several people mention seeing the real Altermind at the bank. ( I think so at least, but i can't find the scenes anymore.) So Corpsemaker's immunity would affect illusions.

    My name, isn't important. No one actually knows who I am, or when I joined the Gang (Or even if I did) But i've been seen at all the meetings, kinda, and I've done some of the work, maybe. No one really knows I'm there. most tend to just ignore me, and most don't know anything about me, other than i'm probably a member of the gang, and therefore trustworthy. For voting purposes, my Name is Suspicious Man. Nothing else is known about me.

    One of my all time favorite series. He indeed a bit rough in the first 4 books, but it's elantris rough. still a good read. I honestly consider his last few books to be better than most of brandon's.

    Do the master start out knowing who eachother are? or are they just voting for a specific Ability to be the chancellor? Because I could easily see this becoming the Shardic coalition again. If I fail to complete a contract, can I try again? And Can I accept contracts about targeting me? If yes, then if someone puts out a contract to kill me, i'll take it, but not do it. Then it would go back to the black market, where I take it again, to prevent anyone from attempting to kill me for cash.

    Szeth says in Way of kings that Shardplate interferes with Lashings, and Brandon has said that the more investiture an item has, the harder it is to affect. That's why you can't push on the metals in someone's stomach for instance. I'll try to find quotes for this. But yeah, Shardplates hould be immune to lashings. EDIT: Link
