    Day One: “This Neverending War to Shatter Me.” Odium hummed softly to himself as he watched Jain and Hoid talk to the Seventeenth Shard. Others would likely be fearful, but he knew what their efforts would bring. Hatred. Unadulterated Loathing. He had lived through these same events before, and had come out on top. He would again. He turned, and shouldered his way through the crowd, ignoring the angry looks from others. He had better things to do than listen to the ramblings of idiots. He had people to meet, heroes to kill and Shards to shatter. Soon, he would have free reign. One day more. Still humming, he left the gathering behind. Once he was out of sight of the Seventeenth Shard, he dropped all pretense of humanity and hopped through space, traveling to Braize. He arrived outside the Great Temple and waited, still humming softly. Another day, another murder spree. He didn’t have to wait long before there was another flash of light, and a woman in a red shirt appeared. Glim the Torpid. She pulled a large black sword off her side and leveled it at him. “You! I know you’re Odium! I can practically smell the hatred dripping from you Cursed one!” This neverending war to Shatter me. “Indeed, I am Odium. What do you intend to do about it? Kill me?” “I will shatter you!” She charged up the temple steps, her investiture making her faster than any human ought to be. These men who seem to hate my Shard. Odium smirked, and dropped his Physical Form, turning to Ash and Smoke. Her sword whistled as it passed harmlessly through it. The lack of resistance made her stumble and fall, with a panicked yelp. Odium renewed his physical form, and stepped forward, putting all of his weight on her Sword arm. He leaned down to face her, and whispered in her ear. “They’ll surely come and be destroyed.” She threw her other arm up in a desperate punch. It connected, but Odium ignored it completely, and instead reached down, covering her mouth with his hand. She swung again, trying to get him off her arm, and again he ignored. With a small exertion of will, he returned to his form of ash and smoke, and dove into her body, filling her throat and lungs. She gasped once, and tried to exhale, but couldn’t. Her chest tightened as she fought for breath, pounding her her own back in a desperate bid for air. Then there was a stretching sensation, and Odium again renewed his Physical Form, exploding outward in a cloud of fine red mist. He stood in the puddle that had once been Glim the Torpid and grinned and let out the song that had been building inside of him. “One Day More!” Gamma Fiend (Glim the Torpid) was a Worldhopper! Day One has begun! The day will end on Tuesday the 1st of September at 9:00 pm PST.

    I'm glad that more people are signing up, I really am! But please people, don't wait until the 11th hour to sign up for a game. I am closing signups in Two minutes, the game will begin One hour after that. Sign ups are closed. The opening thread will be posted in Twenty minutes. Hopefully by then, you'll all have received your role PM's and world PM's.

    Just so you know, my internet is acting up, and might not be consistent for the next several days. I will try my darnedest to have everything be on schedule, but there might be a few time where I can't access the Shards. Welcome Dowanx and Lopen!     1. Click on your name at the top of the Screen 2. Click on 'Manage Ignore Prefs' 3. Either click the Red 'Hidden' Button next to their username, or Click the black 'Remove' Button. Either one will restore that User's signature.

    If skeletals were changed from killing killers to roleblocking, the skeletal would still be destroyed. So the bloodsealer can only roleblock twice. If a player willingly gave up their shard, it would go to Endowment. They wouldn't have to invest, but it would count as their action.

    Awakener can always learn planet of origin and investiture level. This just lets them do it unlimited times. That's what I meant by full seeker. If there are no more planets, then you're dependant on Cultivation for PMs.

    Welcome Honey Badger! We now have twenty players, hopefully we get 24. Anyhoo, Devotion's abilities have been added to. Specifically, the Investiture ability has been changed. Due to how Endowment works, investing someone with Devotion would have done very vague and unspecific things. So I'm specifying them. If Devotion is given to a player without a minor role, They are given a minor role dependent on what world they are on. Whether or not the player had a minor role, their role is now changed. They have unlimited* items, though what that means varies from minor role to minor role. AWAKENER: You become a full seeker. Each cycle, you may target a player and be told Their Investiture level and planet of origin. POISONER: You still only have one vial of poison, but now it kills three lives at once, and you can choose when it goes off, rather than only killing your target when you die. THUG: You become a pewter Savant, and shrug off all wounds. You only die if you are attacked Twice in the same cycle. Otherwise you survive to fight another day. LIFELESS OPERATOR: Your Lifeless becomes a Kalad's Phantom. Each night you may protect someone. (A Full lurcher basically.) UNMADE: You no longer need to be on a world to destroy it. You don't get unlimited items though, you are instead given two more charges. BLOODSEALER: Your Skeletals can no longer be killed. And now, more Rule clarifications from Various PM's If the Awakener targets a roleless worldhopper or Champion, they will be told they are from Braize (Champion) or Yolen (Worldhopper) I will not outright state what killed a player, but if you read the writeup, you should be able to easily figure it out. If a Thug with the Shard of Devotion is lynched/attacked, You will be told they will die when they run out of Pewter, the same as if a normal thug was attacked. If the planet you're on is destroyed by the Unmade, you will be sent to a random planet. If the planet you were moving to is destroyed, you will be sent back to the planet you were leaving. Preservation can now set a Time for Ultimate Preservation to go into effect, in case they aren't able to get online when they want it to happen. Questions for you players: Should shards be able to willing give up their shards at any point, without shattering them? Should I change the Bloodsealer role to simply roleblocking all actions rather than only kills?

    I believe Elan gave a different Puppet to the Orc tribes. He still has Banjo. EDIT: Yep. He gave them Giggles, the Clown God of Slapstick.

    Yes, I'll fix that. The player invested will permanently have that Shard's Investiture ability. Everytime you send in order to use your shardic power, you also send in orders to invest someone. I also ship ShallanxLightsong and HoidxChasmfiend. Ruin and Odium might be on the same team.

    Can't Durkon just say that Roy is no longer his bodyguard? Legally, the other priests would have to kill him then. As for banjo, I think he would be a minor or demi god, rather than a major god.
