Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It's kind of broken, kind of not. It ensures you'll either be targeted tonight, or not at all. Except now that I've made this post, They'll change their plan. That's the problem with revealing anything. Everyone will see it and change their plans. As for the situation with Wyrm, I'm extremely suspicious of the people voting for him because of the WrymCognition argument. I started that, yet they're ignoring me. (Just pay me some attention!) I'm fairly certain some of them are eliminators trying to lynch a dangerous player. And adamair, I'd like you to give your breath to Jerric. I think it's more important to ensure someone won't die, rather than take a chance to block a random kill. Apologies for all.the misspellings and random periods. I'm on mobile, and don't have time to edit this post. Will do that later, as well as vote.- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Klenimar motioned to the mercenary to move to the side, then started counting down from three on his fingers. He burst into the room, followed by his hired thugs. His 'god' Sharkbait looked up in bemusment frkm where he was watching a group of servants perform some sort of play. "Why hello Klenimar! Who are your friends?" The idiot waved at him. Klenimar merely pointed, and the thugs lept forward, grabbing the still bemused return. "Listen Sharkbait. I'm not going to let your incompetence get me killed. From now on, you're not leaving your rooms. I will tend to everything. Got it?" The God's smile got even larger. "Really? You'd do that for me? Thank you Klenimar! You're my best friend. I can't believe the god king would let me go vacation right now when we're voting for who his heir is. They all voted me, right?" Klenimar couldn't respond. He just couldn't. The man couldn't really be that stupid, could he? "Ooh! Hey Klen! Can we go shark hunting on vacation?" Yes. He could be that stupid. Well, before I vote, I would like to hear venture Mistborn's reasoning for voting jain.- 271 replies

Phattemer, why did you vote for Smart guy in the first place? And why exactly does Wyrm seem suspicious?- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There are now five votes on Smart Guy, with absolutely no one defending him. To me that means he's probably innocent. However, he has been on since there were three votes on him, and did not defend himself. That means he's either uncaring about being lynched, and therefore doesn't deserve to live, or is an eliminator and can't think of a defense, and hopes inactivity will defend him. I will leave my vote on him, but I would like to express suspicion on Lopen, who has followed my lead twice now. Lopen, do you have any suspicions besides the players I point out? EDIT: Just realized he did kind of defend himself. And the votes were tied when he got off. I am retracting my vote on Smart Guy, since it does seem like he's innocent now, and will vote for Lopen.- 271 replies

I've heard the Second song, but never the first. Both of them are awesome. Thanks for the share. EDIT: Personally, my favorite Interpretation of Discord is Entropy:

I find it odd that so many people are jumping on Wyrm for voting for Meta, when I was the one that started accusing him. I was the one that tried to foil his plan when I thought it wouldn't work. I think either bort or smart.guy are using it as an excuse to vote for a dangerous player. Bort seems to have a better reasoning for voting for wyrm, so I'll vote for Smart guy. Yes, I know that won't colour my vote, but I can't remember what the mobile coding is. Could a mod change that? Edit: ninja'd by bort, but now I'mm even more inclined to think smart guy is a rebel.- 271 replies

The desolations start when the heralds break under torture. What exactly does that mean? Personally, I think it means they lose their honour. They're the champions of Honour, and the Enemies of Odium. They 'break' when they feel hatred for their tormentors. They're meant to be an ideal that Humanity strives toward. So when Odium makes them feel hatred, he's allowed to attack Humanity.

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The Lynch and target actions are different. Smoking and Lurching are made specifically to block Seekings and Coinshots. There isn't a role (Except Devotion) made specifically to block Lynches. That's where this case is different. And I am checking. But until Gamma confirms that one of us is right, I have to go with what my Gut and experience say should be right. You're right that your plan, if your interpretation is correct, would danger the Rebels, but it would do so by a tiny margin. (Though I'll still use it if I'm lynched and your interpretation is correct.) Actually, I just realized something. If my interpretation is correct, that lets the Rebels kill an extra person every couple of cycles. If they're being lynched, they can give up their breath and a villager will be lynched as well. Now I'm uncertain which interpretation is correct. I'll retract my vote from Meta until Gamma gets on to clarify.- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You're using examples that are non-applicable. There's never been a case where the Eliminators choose to target the person being lynched. And in this case, it would make sense for the second person to be lynched. Let's think about the Order of Actions. I'm assuming it goes: Votes Give away Breath Eliminator Kill and Lynch Since anything else wouldn't make sense. If I'm right about this Order, than the target of the Lynch is already dead, and thus a non-valid target. So the Lynch would target whoever else has the most votes. Unless Gamma says otherwise, I'm keeping my vote on you. As for how Wyrm and I both came to this conclusion, a better question is how you didn't? I used my experience with previous games to come to this conclusion. I Expect you did the same thing. Of course, I can't speak for Wyrm, but I expect he either did the same thing, or saw my conclusion and decided it made more sense than yours.- 271 replies

He also didn't bother asking Gamma if his plan works before saying we should follow it. That's one of the major reasons I'm suspicious of him. I haven't been paying attention to who has been reading.- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Klenimar stepped out of his God's throne room and let out a scream of Frustration. How had that insufferable twit returned? The idiot didn't even know what he was voting for! And now he would have to report that his god was saying he was one of the rebels? It was nearly enough to make him convert to Austere. A messenger was staring at him in surprise, obviously unused to Klenimar constantly screaming in frustration. "Uh, High Priest Klenimar, the Court is awaiting your god's answer?" "My God has decided to vote for, um." Did he have to tell the truth? No one else had been in the room with them when Sharkbait had voted for himself, and Sharkbait himself had probably already forgotten the whole incident. He could lie, and vote for whoever he found suspicious. "Lord Sharkbait the Incompetent has decided to vote for Metacognition the Thoughtful. Since he supports a plan that will result in TWO gods dying each cycle." @Meta, I wanted to see who would vote for me, so I could vote for them. As for your plan. I don't think that will work. If the lynch target were to kill themselves, wouldn't the person with the second most votes be lynched? Your plan also encourages Lynch Trains. And I will be RP'ing as Sharkbait And Klenimar. If I get Lynched Gamma, please have Sharkbait accidentally kill Klennimar some how as well. Current Votes: Lynchtarget the Innocent(3): Shar, Aleck, Ven Aleck the Smart(2): Ri, Orlock Metacognition the Thoughtfu(1)l: Sharkbait Sharkbait the Incompetent(1): Metacognition Funweaver the Festive(1): Bortholomew Shar the Sacrifice(1): Funweaver Jain the Panda(1): Redcross Brightwater the Keen(1): Droll- 271 replies

Quick Fix Game 9: The Court of The Gods
Jo and the Bush replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
"Sir, the other gods want your vote." Sharkbait's High Priest, Klenimar, stood before him, waiting for another snipet of Sharkbaits eternal wisdom. "My vote? As the most great of the gods, I can only vote for myself, Sharkbait." Klenimar stared at him. "Sir, have you been paying attention to what this vote is about?" "Of course I have! I certainly haven`t been daydreaming about going on a voyage to hunt sharks this entire ." Klenimar opened his mouth, then closed it. He repeated that action several more times before bowing and walking out of the room. After the door closed, Sharkbait could hear what was obviously a joyous yell. Others might assume it to be frustration, but Sharkbait knew he never frustrated anyone. Colours he was awesome.- 271 replies

Huh. Guess I worked myself up over nothing. I talkedoto my dad, and he didn't know what a brony was, so I explained it was a fan of Mlp. He didn't know what Mlp was, so I had to explain that as well. Then he was just confused why I was telling him. So I explained I assumed he would find out and be disgusted, to which he replied with, "well that explains all the pony pictures you have on your computer. I wondered about those." Then he asked me which episode's he should watch first. I think I'll show him The return of Harmony tomorrow. If I had known this is how my father would.react, I would have told him a long time ago.

My dad is installing a program on all our computers that will give him a list of every site anyone in the house visits. So I get to either tell him about the brony fandom, something he has expressed distaste in, or stop going to any MLP site at home. So any last minute advice on leaving the brony closet would be very appreciated.
