  1. Asp is the town peddler, that is whenever he is in town. Some say that he is crazy. He's constantly heard muttering about "past lives" one in which he says he was a member in a gang of criminals. He says that in one past life he took on an Inquisitor, all by himself, with nothing but a wooden fork, a clay pot and a quill. he says that in another he beat-up a Koloss, or rather half-a dozen Koloss, in a drunken bar-fight. He says that he's half Kandra on his mother's side, and half noble, quarter Koloss, and an eighth Terrsiman on the other. He also says that he's able to burn lead, and is constantly seen ingesting the stuff... that about explains everything... (Peng, if you want to free up some spots in this game, in case more people join, don't hesitate to kick me from the game. I suppose that you'd want to keep this game to less than twenty players.)
  2. Okay, here's how it is. I'm fine with you guys lynching me as long as you lynch the four people I name next, once my innocence is proven. Quellion (Lord Olivier) Vron(unless he manages to prove otherwise) Wilson Seran These four are the highest on my list table of suspicion. Secondary in suspicion I have Gamon and Kukri and. So if things get hairy and the above mentioned are dead, then it's maybe one of these two who is spiked. Though don't kill them without sufficient suspicion on your own part as well. Oh and I'm a non-spiked Smoker, as you'll soon see. I'll be sitting here burning my copper till the rest of you can decide on how you're going to carry out my execution. Now I know it's a bit weird for the accused to making suggestions as to the method of their own execution, but I would prefer if I was killed in a way that would make it impossible for my body to body to be taken and given to an Inquisitor as birthday present. That is to say, preferably totally disintegrated. I'm thinking cremation would be nice. Then again that's more to do with my body post-mortem. I for one don't have the stomach for disemboweling, and am divided as to whether quartering is a good idea. Decapatation would solve this accursed headache of mine, though I would knot mind a noose around my neck either. Okay, I think I should stop with the horrible execution jokes before it's decided that I be lynched on the spot. I guess I'm still open to suggestions. Any ideas?
  3. Herwynbe you should know that lists, that archaic format, are a thing of the past. They've become obsolete in the face of a far more effective format. And rightfully so. Why this new format is so efficient that it has long been kept a secret by Canton of Orthodoxy. Even the Lord Ruler himself feared the efficiency of this format, at how effectively it displayed information. He feared that once the Skaa learnt of this format they would overcome any administrative problems they had previously suffered. If you know your history you would know that administrative problems, resource requisitioning, indexing, cataloging and the like, were the reasons why every single Skaa uprising failed. No more, I tell you! We now know. We now know better. This ingenious format is none other than The Table:
  4. Kurkri, the point was to not to make it public that Peng informed you, if he did inform you. You've just painted a target on your back.
  5. To our 2nd Tineye, while you obviously aren't spiked, you're also not one of those that Peng gave information to. Promoting paranoia is not going to help anyone. To our current "Informed Crew-member", I suggest that you get in contact with one of the Tineyes and have them relay information for you, so that you can be kept relatively safe. If you're certain of who the Tineyes are.
  6. Aspren had arrived at the inn before the crowd had formed outside. The door was open and there seemed to be five or so discernable sets of ashen shoeprints at the threshold. Dyring always cleaned the threshold last when closing up the Inn for the night. Upon entering he noticed Dyrings body and Herwynbe tending to Peng. It looked like it hadn't been too long since the killers, assumedly spiked, had left. Dyring's corpse seemed fairly fresh, the pool of blood still expanding. There were three coins embedded in Dyrings club, which lay to his left. The jagged cut along his neck seemed to indicate that an obsidian dagger was used. Rather than stand and gawk he decided to give the inn a look over first. By the time he was done most of the crew had crowded outside, with Peng and Aonar preparing to bury Dyring. "You're going to bury Dyring in a pile of ash and dirt in front of his own inn? What kind of burial is that? If you really wanted to bury him in a place that he'd want, I'd suggest that you bury him in the cellar, where the ground is saturated with alcohol and at-least his grave won't be dug up by grave robbers. And for goodness sake, cover up his body! Don't just let him lie in the open like that!" With that Aspren walked off, a satchel in his hands, without offering to help with the burial. He returned a while later with a plain wooden coffin.
  7. Thanks Meta. The more I play the more I get the impression that it's more accurate to say that you're playing us, than to say that we're playing the game. Why do you torture us so?!?!?! At this point in the game, what I really want to know is how they knew that Dyring was a lurcher. I think I'll have to take back the statement I made, that the spiked do not have a clear intel advantage. It seems they do, somehow. All of those that have been targeted by the spiked have been mistings. Wiery and Dyring were both lurchers, Lucy was a seeker and Maxill was a soother. Now, I would think that if they had known that Maxill had been a soother then they probably wouldn't have targeted him, but they did know that he was a soother, and yet they still killed him. I think that maybe the Spiked knows who all the mistings are and also know who of those that have snapped, but maybe don't know what role of each one has. Maybe that's UberTin. Though I'm probably grasping for straws here. Really, how did they get that information? The only other way I can think of is if Peng told them. In any case, I vote for Cessie to be lynched.
  8. Meta, in the write-up you say that UberPewter allows a person to survive three attempts on their life, instead of just two like regular Pewter. Though you've said before that normal pewter allows a person to survive one attempt on their life. So don't you mean to say that UberPewter allows a person to survive two/three attempts on their life, instead of just one like normal Pewter?
  9. Thanks Meta. Well, Wilson, seems like you were right. I suppose we can expect to see two people dead and one person converted by the nights end,.
  10. I don't think that the team ability would interfere with the individuals abilities, though I'm not too sure. We could ask those who played as spiked the previous game.
  11. That does accounts quite well for the events of the last few nights. Though If that was so then Cessie still should've been able to both kill someone and spike another at night in the first few nights of the game.
  12. Then how come Cessie was only killing one person per night initially? The only way I can think that there would be a team kill ability but that Cessie still wouldn't be able to use it up until night 5 is that there needs to be at-least three spiked (which there were on night 5) for the team kill ability to be available. I don't think that Meta would give such conditional abilities though. Any ideas?
  13. I guess I'm being semantical, but effectively impossible does not mean impossible, and I said that in reference to the spiked being without coinshots or Inquisitors. What I didn't do is consider that that the spiked would still have a group ability to kill a person per night along with their other abilities. So I concede your point. I still do doubt that they have one though (it would explain the amount of attacks that happened in night 5 though).
  14. You're implying that I said it was impossible. I said it was unlikely. As I said, they'd need a coinshot or an Inquisitor to have any hope of winning the game with only one spiked. Even if we, by shear luck, manage to kill one more spiked then we severely reduce the likelihood of them winning. We will most likely kill another spiked soon. Unlike the previous game the spiked do not have a clear intel advantage. Discrepencies are more likely to be noticed, and we're more coordinated than in the previous game.
  15. Or rather, we need to kill at-least enough spiked so that there's only one left, to win. If in the end there's only one spiked left then it's effectively impossible for that spiked to win, unless they're a spiked coinshot or the inquisitor, and even then it's unlikely. If the Cessie is limited to only four converts before death, and so these four spiked that we have now are all we're up against now, then the spiked are effectively losing the game. This is the tipping point. I don't imagine that it would be that easy (that is to say that I don't think Meta would allow it to be so easy). I'm sure that the Cessie still has an ability, that we have yet to see, that may be able to turn the odds against us again. We need to consider that possibility.
  16. I think that she has more than one spike left. I'm betting that she could even have as much as four left. It'd be too much to expect to win the game with only five spiked. If she has only four spikes then, allowing for some losses, she would have to reduce the number of normal crew members down to 2. At the current rate of 1 death per day/night it'd take about 10 or so day/night cycles for them to come close to winning. I do agree that this is probably her last night.
  17. I just hope that Cessie doesn't have some sort of suicide ability, like converting several people at once or making someone else into a sub-Inquisitor at the expense of her own life. Then it'd be back to square one. I'm certain that she has something like Uber-Pewter, after all she has survived an attack and a lynching already, and she wouldn't have that ability unless there was purpose for it. So she will most likely have some ability that'll allow her to turn the tides if she was discovered early on. As it is, if we kill lynch her the next day and there's four spiked remaining then there's little chance that they'll be able to win.
  18. Summary of what we know so far: Role Day/Night spiked Actions The Inquisitor (Cessie) - Killed Wiery night 1. Killed Lucy night 2. Killed Maxill night 5? Spiked Coinshot Spiked on night two using Shimble's corpse. Attacked Cessie night 4 to divert suspicion. Attacked Peng night 5. Spiked Seeker/Regular Spiked night 4 using Lucy's corpse. It is possible that this spiked doesn't have an allomantic ability. If they do, then they would have "seeked" someone on night 5. Spiked Lurcher/Regular Spiked night 5 using Shiv's corpse. It is possible that this spiked doesn't have an allomantic ability. If they do, then they'll probably be lurching the Spiked Coinshot from now on. There'll most likely be a Spiked Soother/Regular by the end of this night. Converted using Maxill's corpse.
  19. I Thought I was getting my hopes up in expecting that Cessie would be the Inquisitor. Cessie being the Inquisitor at-least explains why Maxill was targeted. What I want to now is how she survived the lynching. Uber-Pewter maybe? EDIT: I really need to remember to check for later posts before posting myself. This post was initially a reply to Meta's post on the previous page.
  20. This is all quite funny for me. I really didn't mean that much by my request for a time extension. You guys seem intent on making it seem like extending our time is an act of implicit subversion. How does the Inquisitor benefit from extended time more than we do? Inquisitor & Co. is hardly going to use an extra 12 hours to revise who they're going to kill/spike/send prank PMs to based on what happens in those twelve hours unless someone blatantly states their role, or something of the like, in that time, which is unlikely. If they're going to perform any action then they'll most likely have decided on it before then. Another twelve hours really won't have much of an effect on their actions. On the other hand, the extra time allows us to better form our suspicions (whether we discuss those suspicions is another matter). The fact that the level of suspicion you have for me has increased is testament to that. Now that I think about it, it's kinda ironic that by my own request for more time, in order to have more discussion, I will be the one that is discussed.
  21. Nice one, bartbug. Dyring, I'm suspicious seeming because I managed to interfere with the celestial mechanics of Scadrial's solar system so as to allow for an extra 12 hours of night-time? What's so suspicious about that?
  22. Requesting a 12 hour extension. May as well do so now, as we're probably going to need it later.
  23. I have some questions for Shiv: When (on what day/night) did you snap? What do you believe was the cause of your snapping? Obviously you may choose not to reply, and that in a way is still an reply, though considering current circumstances you don't have much to lose.
  24. Well, I never thought I'd see the day that someone uses TV tropes to try to convince someone not to kill them. Shiv, while I think that you've argued well for your side, I don't fully agree. I don't think that at this point we can risk not killing someone. I don't think that we can risk waiting till the next day to prove whether you're wrong or right. What I will do is retract my previous vote and instead vote for no-one until I am convinced one way or the other. I will most likely make up my mind before the end of the day. You couldn't expect people to ask you to defend yourself, because if you are the Inquisitor that gives you a better chance to talk yourself out of the situation. Better to let the accused bring out their own defense. That said, I don't approve of the mob mentality either.
