From Brandon's FB Post (emphasis mine): "Dawnshard Update: Peter is just finishing the last proofreading and editing changes. After that, he has to format it and create the ebook. Right now, he's saying it should be sent out to kickstarter backers on Thursday. Once we confirm that has happened, we'll work on getting it into ebook stores, which might take another couple of days. (For those who will ask: There should be an audio sometime in the future, but not for a year at least. Same for print books in bookstores, though kickstarter backers should get their print copies early next year. I have no specific news on translations, though many of my foreign publishers are planning to do editions.)" So it sounds like it shouldn't be more than a few days for e-book folks if I'm reading this correctly.

After my SURREAL experience on Who Wants to be a Millionaire in 2016, I had the opportunity to grab an espresso with Giada De Laurentiis who happened to be filming for a celebrity special on the same day. She was even smaller than I'd thought and was very nice, promptly ignoring her 'handlers' insistence that she didn't have time to sit down with me for a moment and chat over coffee.

Dalinar - I don't see him ascending. It's just too storming obvious of a Chekov's gun at this point... Szeth, however... if any of our current 5 are going to ascend, that would fit the thematic trend of the tortured becoming enlightened and ascending (see Sazed).

Agreed, it hurt something FIERCE! That said, I strongly suspect that this is the first step towards Kal understanding (and thus eventually swearing) his 4th Ideal. This is the cleanest, most clearly-defined example so far of Kal knowingly allowing someone else to risk themselves, stepping back and acknowledging the fundamental agency of someone he's desperate to protect to make their own decisions and live with them. It seems likely that this is going to be a linchpin moment for Kal to reflect on and make peace with as he generalizes his Ideal more broadly.

Hey all, I was just perusing the covers selected for inclusion in the upcoming release of ROW by Artline Studios. I don't know the details of what instructions entrants were given, but I note that all 4 covers feature Shallan in a crystalline forest in Shadesmar (confirmed by one of the artists). In two of the covers she appears to be accompanied by a young man with a sword, a blond man in the final cover. Could this possibly be Adolin with his mixed Alethi hair? Do we know anyone else with blond/blond-ish hair? Or have any thoughts about the bright light in the distance they face? I have confirmed that the past 3 Bulgarian covers have indeed featured major scenes from within each text.
