    That's an interesting scenario, but why or how would that be accomplished, given they are both (mostly) on Odium's side? Additionally, the Fused that are so damaged they can't take bodies are...well they don't have bodies. I don't know if the Unmade can affect creatures that are pure Cognitive Shadows with no physical link.

    I think that'd be a bad idea, regardless of whether it's possible. Most of the ecology of Roshar, from rockbuds and whatever those grain buds are, to great shells, is dependent on regular infusions of Stormlight via the Highstorm and Honor's moving Perpendicularity. However, if Dalinar can summon it temporarily whenever he wants, that would give his side a huge advantage. So Dalinar could be a temporary anchor for it.

    I think up crazy theories all the time that I'm too lazy to post, tbh. And by the time I find the motivation, I've usually found at least 5 things that proved I was nuts, and so I end up not posting them at all

    We've clashed a few times. We mainly disagree, but I've tried not to be hostile. I do feel that more hard evidence is needed in a lot of your theories before the should be considered solid. But discussion is what this forum is for. As long as we are all careful to let our theories fit the evidence, instead of stretching the evidence to fit the theories, we should be okay.

    One slight modification (yay pedantry). The color or type of gem doesn't actually matter. But because Rosharans have associated each type of gem with an Essence, it matters for them.     Well he obviously has dozens and dozens of Fused. A few of them too crazy to possess live Singers isn't a big deal. He probably keeps a few of them around for thunderclasts, and ignores or Beyond-stomps the rest.

    Kandras are sapient, mistwraiths are not. Just because there are kandra doesn't mean there are mistwraiths. The Unmade have been around for thousands of years. Before the Recreance, at least, which was about 2500 years ago. Mistborn Era 2 is near the same time as Stormlight Archive, give or take a couple of years. The Catacendre was 300 years ago. TFE lasted 1000 years. That means kandra, who were created by Rashek, are no more than 1300 years old, give or take a few years. Read the second passage again. It was tasting the ground for scents, like a snail or slug. Not sniffing/tasting the air. Sorry, there's no chance of this one.

    Nah. Taravangian rides off in a palanquin at the end of Part 4, and isn't mentioned again till after the battle. He gave the Azish permission to use his boats, but he wasn't on them himself. During the battle, Teft says he told them to help fly wounded from the triage stations to the Oathgate.

    I didn't want to get into the whole mass/energy/momentum/gravity issues relating to photons. So, "basically" massless. Massless for all intents and purposes of this discussion

    Sadly, Brandon's been very carefully RAFOing almost everything about Cultivation and what she's up to. Also, not many people have asked much about her recently, which is kinda weird. Most of the WoBs are asking about whether Nightwatcher is a <insert speculation here> of Cultivation.

    That is a FANTASTIC set of definitions. I think Shallan fits firmly under Influenced or Manipulated, not Corrupted. And I agree that she's been quite resistent to both influence and manipulation.

    I'm pretty sure that's her spren, Ivory, as her Shardblade. Why would she wield a deadblade that screamed at her all the time? Anyway, Amaram had Oathbringer at the time.

    We didn't see that with any of the emotionspren around Kholinar. I'm sure Odium *could* enhance awareness, but it seems more likely that those spren are ones that are serving him voluntarily. They have no hint of red, iirc, which is a sign of corrupted or co-opted Investiture.

    I'm not sure what that would accomplish? The Fused are already stuffed full of Odium's Investiture, so an Unmade absorbing or connecting with them (which would be odd anyway since the Fused are mad and have no bodies) wouldn't really do much. Odium can deal with the Fused any time he wants. They're a tiny speck of his own power. He could withdraw that power and stomp them into the Beyond.

    I was thinking it's because Lashings affect something external to the person, while Lightweaving doesn't really. Holding Stormlight doesn't attract the screamers, but Lashing even a small rock does. Lightweaving isn't affecting anything physical (well, light, but that's basically massless).

    But see. Corrupted by is different than influenced by. Corruption is what we see with Glys, Amaram, Aesudan, and so forth. Influenced by is what we see with Dalinar, Sadeas, and the others that are affected by the Thrill. If we call Shallan corrupted, we'd have to call Dalinar corrupted, since he's been far more influenced by Odium for a much longer time.

    A lot of Shadesmar's economy is based on getting things from the Physical Realm. Stormlight, food for the mortals, travelers, etc. Whoever controls the access points to the PR would have quite a degree of power over Shadesmar. Also, controlling the perpendicularity controls who can get from Shadesmar to the PR. People like Azure and Vasher would find it harder to get to the PR. They might be stopped, captured, turned back, or even corrupted. Ohh and don't forget that Odium would always be on the lookout for Hoid.
