Nice, I'd say "let's have a duel", but i don't know how to sword fight and i have to work tomorrow (Friday). Edit: also, i don't have the book right next to me but did Jasnah or Shalan actually glow when they soulcast? i can understand the spheres glowing but she could hide them in here safehand. Couldn't she? Second edit: was it mentioned that she glowed when she used her ability on the ship to see her garden?

Nice. I was always curious if miles had to have the gold metal nailed through his stomach to use it, but now I have my answer. Thank you.
-
Long title but small question. Does the metal have to be in an allomancer's stomach to burn it?

Use this ability to make a memory of dalinar's army and then follow them into battle, when they are ready to fight the parshendi, she puts the illusion behind the real army to make it seem like there are more than there actually is.

The Huffington Post Knows What We're Going Thru
Grayv replied to The Rooster's topic in Stormlight Archive
For me it is 4 days, 7 hours, and 25 minutes ish -
My question would be "was there any difficulty going from The Wheel of Time to The Stormlight Archives. I.E. Accidentally writing a WoT characters personality instead of the SA characters personality?"
-
I pre-ordered on the kindle. I didn't find out until 4 days ago that there was a B&N near my work. I might show up to work early Tuesday and hop over and see if they have any that wasn't pre-ordered and if so, I'll buy it right away. I don't mind having multiple copies.

My weird logic is telling me to vote for Mathieu, because if I was the inquisitor i would have spiked those that were spiked the first game just because not many people would suspect them of being spike the second game. Praise the Ja

If you got a copy of WoR before release for three hours only...
Grayv replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
I would copy down the new ars arcanum and see what is new by comparing it with TWoK. -
I would be a bronze compounder and become the ultimate sentry

Electrum - like a lurches but only for yourself Atium - only usable by mistborn. If you are on the killers side, cancels out a lurchers or oracles ability (if the target is an oracle who was also lurched he/she will still survive) if you are on the survivors side, not only will he survive, but will get a pm on who it was. It should be very rare to get this metal and there should be a really good chance of never getting it during a game. Malatium can be like a seeker, but instead of telling you if they are spiked, villager, misting, or mistborn, it tells you what they did the cycle before.

What if Renarin is the bondsmith?

Don't worry about it, Adolin just broke his toe, fell, and nocked himself unconscious.

Anyone else feel like an addict while waiting for this book and that all these glimpses are just quick fixes until you can get the good stuff?

By the Ja, this is getting way too confusing. Attacking teammates to alleviate suspicions? What will they think of next. Too bad we can't do a night mob on Cessie right now. now the big question is, What do uber-pewter and uber-iron do. Praise the Ja

Grave watched, aghast, as the group surrounded Shimble and proceeded to kill him. "By The Ja!" he said, "look what you have done. This innocent man was killed because you let fear rule your minds. Once again I say, take Ja into your hearts, and fear will not rule you. If you place your faith in The Ja, you will find the answers you seek. Praise the Ja! I am finding it hard to play a religious person. According to the coppermind, i should be more zealous. I don't think i shall be playing a religious person a second time. Although difficult, I am having fun trying to figure out what to say.

"See," Grave said, "if we had stayed together as a group, we could at least have seen the killer, if not stopped him outright. Place your faith in The Ja and he shall see you safe. Praise The Ja!"

The Ja must have placed me here to test my faith, Grave thought, I will prove myself. "Inquisitors and Poisons!", Grave exclaimed, rising from the chair he sat in when he first saw the body. It had taken him a while to get over the site of his first corpse. "By the Ja this is horrible. I have faith that The Ja will protect me, but I also know that He chooses when it is our time to go. I say that we should stick together when we go out, as this will hopefully deter this evil inquisitor. But on the off chance that it doesn't, and he targets someone within the group, then hopefully someone within the group will see this inquisitor's face. I have great faith that we can solve this mystery without any more death. Praise the Ja!"

Grave was panting when he finally entered the inn and saw everyone surrounding Modeft, who was laying on the floor underneath an extremely bloody hook. "Oh My!" he said, face going pale at the site of so much blood, "I think i am going to be sick. How in the name of Ja could this have happened." Grave walked over to an empty chair, sitting in it while trying to keep his upset stomach under control. I believe that we should wait on voting on someone. I will cast my vote to not kill anyone.

Wild Speculation: Dalinar's Boon and Curse (minor spoilers)
Grayv replied to Moist_von_Lipwig's topic in Stormlight Archive
I thought he went there to get rid of his jealous nature. He did contimplate killing gavilar for both the throne and Navani. Although I think Navani was the main reason.
