  1. Hope you feel better soon. It sucks being sick over a weekend but at least you got some good books to keep you company. And if someone called him out on it, that would also be evidence of backroom talking. It has its advantages and its disadvantages.
  2. Personally, I disagree with this fairly strongly. I routinely hold back information when I'm a villager as to not give the elims more information than they already have. (Of course I also hold back information when evil but that's to be expected.) Steel's idea has/had merit. If someone he approached with an idea came back with something that another player told him or one of his own ideas then that can be a good indication of two players talking about Steel and his ideas in secret. Fairly good chance of elimness there. I don't believe Steel is an Elim. MacThorstenson on the other hand has been giving me evil vibes. His posts are far more detailed than in the QF. That could be down to having more time to think about his suspicions, him being evil and knowing everyones alignment or simply that he's found his stride in the games. Which is it? I don't know.
  3. Yes! So much yes. Everyone go for the gun. Let's have an old fashioned death draw. 17 players enter. One player leaves. I support this. Let the Gods of Luck and Chance make the call. And if a Sneaky player gets the gun? Really? You're turning my character into a clown? Very well. You asked for it.
  4. Well folks, it's long, long past time we closed this game up. Congratz to the Elims for the win. Well done Drake. You kept us guessing right to the end. Many thanks to Lopen for running the game, Steeldancer for the awesome write ups and to all the players for playing. It is only together that we make this place what it is. If anyone would like to try their hand at running a game, please get a hold of Wilson, Orlok Tsubodai, Seonid or myself. Not only will we get you added to the list, but we'd also be more than willing to help out in any way we can.You can also ask questions and get some hints and feedback from everyone over here in our Art of Game Creation thread as well. With all the games that we've run so far, we have plenty of experienced GMs that can help you refine any game you're thinking about! If you would rather keep some detail secret or are self conscious about posting in thread (there's really no need to be, while we do slaughter each other, we are very polite about it), then I'm sure one of our fantastic committee members (Elbereth, Amanuensis, Aonar Faileas, A Joe in the Bush, and Stink) would be more than willing to help you out in private. Thanks again to everyone that played and we look forward to killing seeing you in future games!

  6. Ronald wandered into the camp. His limp from battles past evident for all to see but it was his piercing blue eyes that captured everyones attention. After many, many hours of therapy, Ronald is willing to brave the front lines again to help protect those he loves. Here's hoping it goes better than it did in MR3.
  7. Here you go.
  8. The voices were gone now. Finally there was peace and quiet. Praise be to The Lord Ruler. He gave me the knowledge and means to silence the voices and it worked. For years the others in Breezys gang had been yanking on his emotions, making him do their bidding but that was all over now. Now no one could steal his thoughts. For the first time in years, he was finally free. Free to do what he wanted. A very nice game Lopen. With each vote having the chance to kill it became important that the elims didn't gain any votes. And that was made a lot harder since we had no vote manipulation roles. I am sorry Walin for deceiving you but I really wanted you to tie up the vote so there was little to no chance of Legend dying. Thankfully, the Gods of Luck and Chance continued to smile on me. Kas, I meant what I said. I was really looking forward to pairing up with you. We would've made a great team. Although I'm glad you died when you did as I don't think we would've had such a clean win if you were alive that last day.
  9. I can assure you, you are not the only Villager. Walin, if you are Village, please vote on Ari to tie it up. We can at least try and buy ourselves another cycle.
  10. [Well done Ari. I don't know how you did it but you had me completely fooled.] The voices were getting louder. The fewer people there were, the louder the voices. It shouldn't have been possible but it was. Somehow it was. They are coming for me. They are going to steal my thoughts again. The person once known as Noval huddled in a corner rocking back and forth. "They come. They come. They come."
  11. [Ra and Apophis are still at each others throats I'm sure/ At least Ra still wants Apophis dead. Good thing he's not in this game.] [Ah, the Ness God. I hear they can be lax in supporting their followers. Consider converting to the Gods of Luck and Chance. The benefits tend to outweigh the cost. Most of the time.]
  12. [I think we have a new convert to the Gods of Luck and Chance. Welcome brother.]
  13. You trying to steal my thoughts? Maybe you should be taken to Breezy. Or is that what you want? You want us to take you to Breezy so you can turn him into a tree. I'm on to you! You keep your thought stealing leaves away from me. That Nils person however was might suspicious. Changing their name was the sort of thing a tree might do when trying to appear to be a person. He had heard of things that could change how they looked. Spieses they were. All spieses.
  14. You would like that wouldn't you. We not falling for your trickses. If no one is sent to Breezy then no one talks and if no one talks then the plants win and steal our thoughts again.
  15. You would like that wouldn't you. You want me to point out that you missed Monmet accusing Gio but I'm not going to. You can't trick me that easily.
  16. Life is risk, risk is life. To live is to gamble with death. Edit: Also, your vote count is wrong. You can't trickses us. Oh no, we are on to you.
  17. He felt a large pull on his emotions! Shock ran though him. Impossible! I learnt their secret! They can't pull my thoughts anymore! They knew. Somehow they knew. They knew he knew. But did they know that he knew that they knew?
  18. She was watching him. Sabine was what she called herself but he knew better. He knew what she really was. She was one of the eyes that watched his every move. Always watching, never blinking. She was watching him now. Waiting for him to move. But he wasn't going to give her that/ No, she wanted him to react to her giving away one of his prized bottles but he wasn't going to. No, no, no, no, no. He knew what she wanted and wasn't going to give it to her.
  19. Plants. They were all talking about plants. It must be code. They knew he was near so they used codes so he wouldn't learn their plans. But he was on to them. He knew trees didn't hurt anyone. They were too weak and spindly to even pose a risk of falling on someone. So what were they talking about if not trees and grass? But what if it wasn't code. There was that one person that looked suspiciously like a prickly plant. Cactus was it? It must be code. Surely. Else why wouldn't they just get rid of the plantperson that was right in front of them?
  20. Everyone is a Soother or Rioter and no one is playing a Foil Hat Conspirator? Very disappointing. Guess it's up to me then. Sign me up. I would give you a name but you would like that wouldn't you? You would love to know my name. Oh you're good, but I'm not falling for it. No, no, no, no. I'm not falling for your tricks anymore. They were all around him. He could hear them whispering to him over and over. He had tried to live a quiet life away from others but they always found him. No matter where he went, they found him. He could feel their eyes on him even now. Watching. Always watching, never blinking.
  21. I thought that was the case. You sneaky, sneaky creature you.
