Too early for me to act. Give it 6-7 more minutes for the fun to start.

Chaos and mayhem boiled out of the now ruined factory as bloodied workers flooded into the streets, most covered in wounds while some were missing entire limbs. The streets themselves were already packed with people from other factories that had also been caught up in the fighting. Hundreds, if not thousands of injured people panicked as they fled the still ongoing carnage. Dozens of people trampled underfoot or crushed against walls as everyone tried to escape. Back in the devastated factory, Val calmly and slowly removed their upper clothing and retrieved what passed for a first aid kit. A couple of strips of cloth that was likely the same strips that the last person used just washed so the bloodstains were removed and a simple needle and thread set that was very close to running out was all that remained. Val was lucky there was that much when normally when a Skaa like themselves gets injured they are simply taken away and killed. After all, why waste time and resources healing when the factory owners can just get a replacement worker the next day. As Val methodically removed any shrapnel and stitched the wounds shut, one of which went all the way through Val left side leaving a neat hole in the front but a slightly jagged hole in Vals back, Val failed to notice that they weren’t in as much pain as they should have been, nor were they panicked. In fact, Val didn’t really feel much of anything. Finally finished the RP I wanted to get done before the game started. Just in time too. For those wondering, Val is basically a Scadrial version of a Drab. I thought it might be fun to try and RP one. Some liberties/changes have been taken to help make it work but it is possible. I can assure you that in my many years in customer service and security, I have found that common sense is not as common a trait as many believe.

With the sun barely peeking over the horizon and the nights mist still lingering outside the town, Val found themselves wandering the streets once more. A habit long ingrained in the bones. Day after day, year after year, rise with the sun and walk to the factory. Every day the same thing and the same thing every day. Mindless repetition. To most, it would be boring but for Val, it kept them sane. Or at least it used to. About three months ago by Val’s reckoning, there was an incident at the factory. The day started innocently enough, shipments of ore would come in from the mines ready to be sorted, melted and cast before heading off to more specialized factories. Old man Arlen tripping on the same slightly raised patch of floor he trips over at least twice a week while Boss Johaap glowers at anyone he thinks might be moving too slow. A normal day by any standard. Until it wasn’t. Val had just finished processing the third batch of ore for the morning when it all went crazy. It started with a rumble and racket as one of the outer walls was ripped apart and pieces flung away only for some of them to come flying back crashing into workers and equipment alike. Next came the girl, or what Val thought was a girl, it was hard to tell with all the strips of cloth fluttering around her. Val watched in horror as freshly cast metal bars were lifted up by nothing hurling towards the girl before swinging around her and shooting off toward where she came. Then the monsters came. They looked like men but they could not be. Not with those large spikes through their eyes. They too lifted metal objects and fling them around, somethings at the girl and other times they seemed to be throwing them towards the workers, impaling them with shards of metal while swinging their axes to cut down whatever was in range. A minute, maybe two. That was all it took for them to rip apart the factory and disappear continuing their fight elsewhere. Yet it took five more minutes before anyone moved, not out of fear but from shock and disbelief at what they had witnessed. Val didn’t know who was the first to snap out of it but when they did, so did everyone else and that’s when the screaming started. Bodies or parts thereof, lay scattered around. Some ridded with holes while others were in pieces. Some survivors were covered in blood, Val being one, while others sported various wounds. A sharp stinging pain tore through Val as they noticed a couple of nails that had been torn up from the floorboards had embedded themselves into Val’s protective vest. A simple leather apron and gloves that had seen much better times given to all workers that worked with or near the forges. Good enough to protect from the occasional splash of molten metal but not it seems from flying shards of metal as some nails went all the way through or missed the vest completely instead impaling into Vals arm. To be continued as it kinda got away from me and I'm running out of time today.- 630 replies

What the chull? You've had last post for over 72 hours! This cannot stand any longer.

Nalthis. I also would have liked to end up there. I would try to gain enough Breath to get agelessness.
-
Since Earth doesn't exist in the Cosmere, either we are all dead, or spread out on other worlds. Which one did you end up on?
-
Far too often for my own good.

How backwards. A true gentleman fights to first blood. Thank you.

Talk is overrated. A comfortable silence is better.

I never left... I was watching. Always.

17 hours since last post? That's far too long.

As much as I would like to play part B, I will have to withdraw. I only have two more days before life drags me away again. This was a fun if quick game TJ. Thank you for running it.

Kas, I hope you have calmed down a bit and I'm sorry to say that this post will likely set you off again but... Sticks death is purely on Stick. Sart offered the 'kill everyone' plan to find the Insider, I offered myself to Stick if they couldn't decide who to kill. Stick chose to have the kill on whomever got the most votes which was the worst choice to make of the three on offer. There is almost always a last minute flurry of votes at this stage of the game. We all know this. Between that and Sticks natural indecisiveness, this result was all but guaranteed. My own vote, which I had to do due to filter, was on someone without a vote. That was by choice. I could've tied it up. I wanted to tie it up! But I chose to vote on someone else in the hopes to help Stick. Could I have voted on Neil to make the margin bigger? sure but I didn't want to. My vote should not be the deciding factor where the elim kill goes. No vote should! For whatever reason, the fact is that Stick did not place their order. Unless they placed it on Drake but that would be even worse than not placing an order at all. I like Stick. I love playing with Stick. But their death is their own fault! Now then, Drake. I do believe it's time for you to die.
-
I believe I'll vote for RoyalBee.

It's always possible. Am currently working on something but needs to await some clarification from TJ before continuing. Likely boils down to nothing but one never knows. Plan 1: Failed. (See below) Plan 2: On Hold Plan 3: In progress (See below) I like Sart's kill everyone plan with one change. Since we have very little chance of IDing the Insider I feel our best chance is to kill as many as we can until the Contact dies. Then we exe whichever elim we think is not the Informant and pray to the Gods of Luck and Chance that during all the death we took out the Insider. It relies a lot on Luck but then I'm always willing to roll the dice. Naturally it's very possible that Aman was the Informant and all we are doing is killing ourselves for the elims enjoyment but if so, then well done elims. An impressive gambit. For the record, I was online and was thoroughly enjoying the chaos. I was even thinking of voting but Stick said that both Aman and Drake were going to hammer what at the time looked to end up a tie so I decided to let it play out. Was not disappointed. I feel that would be a waste. The Informant knows who the Contact is so if you are as you claim then there is no chance of you hitting the Contact. Instead you should target someone you think is the Insider as the kill will fail on them allowing us to ID them easier as I'm presuming you will be willing to reveal who you targeted either right before end of cycle or at start of next cycle. Ignore this. Informant doesn't know Contacts name (I believe). There goes a couple of hours of wasted gray matter. So much for Plan 1. However, should the Informant not know who to target with the NK for fear of hitting the Contact, I offer up myself. I'm very willing to let my fate be decided on a Coinflip between the Informant and the elim. And I loved it. While I rarely have time to RP, I do enjoy it when others use my character to advance their own story.
-
Except we do not know if we exe the Insider. The only way for us to know would be to have the NK target the Insider and they not show up in the write up. So long as the kill is targeting outside the Doc there's a chance for the Insider to be revealed.
