But there was definitely enough time for the vote to switch back. If people saw that I was "lying," I would have been dead in a flash.

I'm going to also put my vote on Elenion. I think Meta could have lied about me, since by that point it had become significant in discussion that I could be a thief helping the elims. So if I had died and come up thief, suspicion wouldn't necessarily have fallen on Meta. There were 2 things that might have cause it to; the identity of the item I had stolen, and the fact that courier PMs close after death. But Meta was the person to bring these things up, not me. He did a better job of confirming my story than he needed to, and that makes me trust him.

Well, copper spiked is somewhat useless on an elim team if they don't have allomancers.

I would like to point out that Meta started out with a Spike. So he could be an elim, and they would still have an allomantic power. I honestly don't think it's too unrealistic for the Ventures to have no allomancers on their team though. With the system in this game those abilities didn't seem to do to much except for the two kills and Flash saving himself.

How does someone in the top group making a kill give anything away? We don't have enough hazekillers to check all the bottom people each cycle, so we can't assume that it was one of them. Also, HH is likely a smoker since I stole copper from him, so he could have a legitimate night action. There isn't much reason for him to use it though.

Yes, Meta could be an eliminator. Him using a Hazekill action isn't any different from using the elim kill though, so that isn't that helpful. I'm going to vote on DroughtBringer. Also, if it comes down to only 1 elim that we know the identity of, I'd like to lynch HH first. Then I will have fully avenged Dalinar. Right now I've only taken out 4/5.

For some reason this setting reminds me of Discworld. Well, I'll sign up as Aimes. I don't know that I'll be RPing that much this game, but he is a younger fellow and didn't know what he was getting into when this all started.

I would guess that Meta is a Hazekiller, since he had no items Night 1. For what it's worth, Drought had no items last night.

Also, I feel that spikes are somewhat worthless at this point, since it looks like no more metals are coming, and most have probably been used.

Sorry man. Read my character description: I've got to ascend to Ruin, and that takes spikes.

The thing that bothers me about this situation is I'm the only person that really stands to lose anything from it. If I die, I cannot win the game. But if Jondesu dies, regardless of his alignment, he can still win. So from that perspective, it makes more sense to lynch Jondesu first. I'm somewhat worried that we won't hear from Meta, since he hasn't been online since Tuesday. HH has been online, so he at least should be able to confirm that I'm a thief, if he gets over here.

I honestly don't remember why I didn't steal night 0. That would have been the best time to grab a spike from somebody :/.

Nobody else had items... Here are my targets: Night 1: Meta Night 2: Brightness Radiant Night 3: HH Night 4: Jondesu Night 5: Meta And I just realized my orders have been off by a cycle in my GM PM. Sorry for any confusion.

The Thief is strictly a neutral role, Elenion. My win condition is to survive to the end. Edit: Does a courier want to confess to making a PM with me? That's the only way I could have colluded with the elims, but nobody makes PMs with me, I'm notorious for ignoring them. Edit 2: I have 2 people that I've stolen from, so unless you think all 3 of us are elims, then you should reconsider. Both HH and Meta can confirm my role.

What does "I have a lead on who the thief might be" mean? I've only stolen 2 items, so you would have to have a PM or an elim doc with either Meta or HH to have any idea whatsever.

If Meta can't get on, perhaps @Hemalurgic_Headshot can confirm that he was stolen from Night 3.

Okay, I got GM confirmation that last night went as it should. I am the Thief, and stole from Meta, which he can confirm. Therefore, almost certainly Jondesu is not telling the truth. Killing me is totally counterproductive for you guys.

I'd rather not. There are still 36 hours before you can lynch me, and I don't want to say anything right now. @Seonid, can you confirm that there were no mistakes around events last night?

Well, I definitely took an action that went through, so either Jondesu is lying, there is some GM mistake here, or someone hasn't thought of all the possibilities. I'm not going to roleclaim right now. I think it is also relevant to consider Night 0, which also had a roleblock and no kill. I'm going to take a look at living players that weren't on the shard in the last 36 hours, to see if it's possible that we have a fully inactive elim team. Edit: Nevermind, that's not going to help us at all.

My bad, to all the people that pointed out the difference between those two. However, I still don't quite see why the elims would have one scenario over the other. Giving the elim team spikes rather than straight up roles would allow them to reassign abilities based on activity levels of players, which is definitely something that happens in a lot of games. So both role distributions seem feasible to me. I'm not going to guess on a difference in role distributions like that right now, and I'm a bit surprised that Meta is. But he did have other good reasons for his vote. @cloudjumper, currently Meta is voting on an active player that has given response to accusations against him. Could you give your opinion about Cluny?

@Metacognition, I'm a bit confused about the distinction between Cluny having a Bronze spike, and just being a Bronze misting, when it comes down to role distributions. The two are effectively the same, as far as the elims having Bronze as a part of their team. So that part of your argument seems moot to me.

Wow, I am kind of ancient on here. I was in the first Anniversary Game. I guess it fits my favorite character being an elderly grump. It seems like a few people are suspicious of Cluny, enough to lynch him based on recent days. From a strictly selfish perspective, there aren't too many bad outcomes for me. Cluny is village, or he isn't. He has a spike, or he doesn't. In 3/4 outcomes, an eliminator dies or I have a chance at getting a spike. Seems like its pretty good odds. But Cluny is already up for the lynch, so I'll hold off on changing my own vote to give him time to respond without a bandwagon forming.

I acknowledge that you have given explanation for those votes. That doesn't change that I find them suspicious. Also, it's not just your votes, but your other behavior like being reluctant to vote on PK without offering a reason you were convinced he was village. I don't know that I'm really looking for you to explain things any more. I'm suspicious, so I put it out there for others to consider and used a vote to back my talk with something solid.

I doubt that hazekilling a metallurgist would block metal orders, since that is a passive ability. Rather, I suspect that hazekilling would prevent the metallurgist from poisoning a vial of metals during that cycle. Apologies for my lack of presence last cycle, I have no excuse. I suppose my characters have become ghosts often enough that its rubbing off on my play style. For a while I was close to having the highest death rate on the Shard :D. Anyway, on to game relevant stuff. I'm going to vote on Jondesu. During cycle one, he seemed reluctant to vote on PK, as if he knew that a villager was going to die and he didn't want to be in on it. Instead, he voted for Cluny, for making a minor edit to a post. The next cycle, he tried to pursue Cluny again until it was shown publicly how minor the edit was. Later that vote switched to Dalinar. Now, Dalinar had clarified that he was busy IRL and would be limited in his posting ability. Dalinar does justify his vote, and he relies on Lopen's argument presumably because he has limited web access. So why place a vote asking someone to justify a vote that they already justified, when they also said they will have limited access to the thread to respond to them? Seems pointless to me. Recent events haven't changed my opinion, Jondesu voted on Flash after his reveal, but withdrew later when the claim was confirmed, and was less active for IRL reasons for a bit.
