    Shelldry

Well this seems quite interesting, honestly I cant for the life of me remember shelldry being played in the series, it will be rather useful I think when I have to start my mistborn role group
  3. Wow, now that's quite an incredible piece of information! This sheds a lot more light on the whole Rayse-Hoid relationship, and there's no more bitter enemy than one who once you called a friend. I'm starting to have a lot more sympathy for Rayse, he looks a whole lot more human, for all we know Hoid might not the hero in this story, but then again we still lack information to make a conclusion. Edit: Confused Hoid with Honor
  4. I remember from a quote that you most likely cant store anything except wakefulness while your sleeping, as for tapping attributes, that's a different matter, I can totally understand the body unconsciously burning pewter or tapping gold to preserve itself, but tapping luck while your sleeping seems a bit of a stretch.
  5. You cant tap or store while your sleeping so you should be able to kill him while he is getting some zzzz.
  6. If I had to pick I would go for double steel or double gold(kind of expensive though!), but barring a compunder I would choose Allomantic pewter and Feruchemical steel, being faster, stronger and more healthy sounds just like my cup of tea and I can store most of the excess speed from pewter into a steelmind for when I need it .
  7. I wish it was so, but the chances of finding anyone that reads Brandon and that I didn't personally convert is very slim , plus from what I have seen there isn't a lot of interest in books down here in Argentina.
  8. Well I don't have a problem with it, although the whole lord ruler being evil is kinda cheesy. (Go rashek!)
  9. I'm actually pretty sure It does provide an increase in power, Remember when Kaladin was sticking rocks to the wall in the chasm? I remember him thinking it over. Here is the quote for that part:
  10. Eagerly awaiting WoR

  11. I voted Renarin, He really deserves to be a radiant to be honest. Attempting to help as a giant beast capable of crunching shardplate atacks everybody? That IS brave, honestly I am really interested in seeing a Renarin PoV, who knows what's going on inside his mind?
  12. The thing is that Dalinar has been following the codes for quite a while (I cant remember how long till Gavilar's death, 6 years?) It's gotten him nowhere, In fact at the beginning of TWoK he was seen as losing his wits, weak because of his highstorm visions. He even tried diplomacy trying to get the different highprinces to work together or to at least finish the war. However all they care about is filling their own pockets and gaining even more power. I may be biased since I quite enjoy Dalinar as a character but honestly I think that Dalinar has tried just about every angle to help unify and protect Alethkar. So what do you do when everyone is being a selfish prick and avoids listening to reason? Well that's when you stop being "nice". Dalinar is trying to help the kingdom, trying to turn it into a unified nation capable of withstanding the incoming desolation. He NEEDS to make everyone stop fighting each other, his plan is actually quite simple : To strip the highprinces of their shards (he already controls the soulcasters thanks to Elhokar) this also ties quite nicely with him wanting to recreate the radiants, of course there's still the matter of whether those shards are corrupted by odium or if a radiant can actually use them, but given what Dalinar knows it's a pretty decent course of action. As for him not obeying a certain part of the Codes of War, I think that he is still following them, The codes do not prevent dueling, they merely state that "Needless duels should be avoided" (in other words if two officers get angry at each other, they are NOT supposed to stab each other in a formal duel) Dalinar ordering Adolin to start obtaining shards is not a violation of this. I honestly don't know if Dalinar will become a Radiant, It could go either way really all I know is that Brandon is going to surprise us in quite a few ways in Words of Radiance.
  13. Hmm then why don't you make it so that they look prosperous and then the characters/readers find out what the cost of that prosperity is, also I was totally thinking of some emotion draining fabrial.
  14. Perhaps for oppression you could utilize some sort of draining system ? What I mean by this is that you somehow power up a device or a construct that enables you to do something, you have to feed it with human emotions or energy of some sort, now I don't think people will like it when you drain their joy, anger etc so they will naturally try to avoid getting zapped by your machine, that's where you grab all the peasants and slaves and you hook em up for juice. Bonus points if you require a large amount of subjects. As for order I've no clue to be honest I will have to think about it some more.
  15. My death sucked, it was a horrible way to go, but anyways I wanted to tell Peng "I told you so" and that the dead people make their way to heaven, its quite lonely up there. Also have fun (in other words your all dead.)
  16. "Oh man this is going to be troublesome, an inquisitor amongst our midst? This will get ugly rather quickly. Also I have the most curious feeling that someone wants me dead. *Shivers* Meep I get the feeling we're gonna get butchered.
  17. Well these are my bookshelves although around a quarter of my books are missing, that are sprawled or lost somewhere in the house. And by the way the dragon guards my books from sticky fingered people.
  18. The poll says "Who deserves death the most?" It's mostly useful for seeing which way the wind blows, and as much as we want to avoid lynching people, eventually we are going to need to start hanging people so I suggested we start with the nobles . Also I ended up following the anti-mob mentality since it makes sense to play safe for now.
  19. I will follow along with that particular plan as well although this depending on the seekers cooperation and you not getting killed by the inquisitor
  20. I'm going to be changing my Vote to avoid killing anyone Since its the wiser course of action. I'm not sure if I have post anew or whatever so I will just make a new post.
  21. "Oh man we haven't even started our job yet and already we have a corpse!? Even worse it's our crewleader! Looks like I'l have to cart out this corpse. "I say we blame the nobles after all who's ever heard of skaa inquisitor?, My cousin in Luthadel once told me that the inquisitors hunt the skaa relentlessly over there. I dont think its the noblewoman, So I say we lynch this Lord Ollivier who we haven't even met yet! All right so perhaps it might be wiser to wait, I still say we should start with the nobles unless some new information appears. Vote: Kill no-one
  22. "Would it truly be so bad if the ashmount stopped spewing ash? It would make my life a whole lot easier! and besides I also help out with getting rid of dead sucke- *AHEM* I mean recently deceased citizens so perhaps I could earn a living that way.... Hmmm it certainly pays better that's for sure."
  23. "Quite a few people moving around, going places,it looks like I will have to keep the streets clean for all this traffic. I will have to put in some extra effort with all this ash that keeps on falling and falling. *Sigh* Why did I resort to cleaning the streets when we live so close to an ash mount."
  24. Well I also got into the beta and played a few matches but I am not that good really. I happen to enjoy the shaman deck, those little totems are just so darn useful and can really help tip the scales in your favor. I go by sribute in hearthstone so if you happen to play against me try to have some mercy By the way has anyone tried out arena? It looks like if your decent at the game you could get your hands on quite a few things.
  25. More people, more chaos, MORE FUN! In any case I am really curious to how this will play out, as we seem to be getting quite a few members. I think it would be hilarious if the inquisitor got killed early on, but then again we can trust meta to choose a suitable devious inquisitor from our numbers. Let the carnage begin soon
