    Good old classic rules. I'm in. Peng will be a crazy old man. He had a habit of telling everyone he was an allomancer. Or a feruchemist. Or an inquisitor. Some days he claimed he was The Lord ruler reincarnated.

    Salamander sat in his launch pad. He had been paralyzed with fear since day 1 and hadn't moved since the games began. He heard the mutts coming, but didn't move. He stood there until they came and ate him. ------- Tekon is technically still alive after this cycle, but he's inactive and there's not really a way for him to him to win. Dom has the body armor and a large lead in kills. Dom came back to the cornecopia. Tekon was there, holding his used medical kit and crying like a baby. The nightlock hadn't quite taken him out. There was an antidote in the kit. Dom took a hefty branch and finished the job anyway. i'm totally going to need therapy after this he thought. I present to you: your victor! Dominic1994!!!!! Thanks for playing everybody.

    Granted, but you now have a completely inccurable case of the hiccups. Completely. Wishes don't help. Boons don't help. Water doesn't help. Every thirty seconds until you die. In battles and at funerals, awake and asleep. I wish high storms didn't blow through my hometown.

    Ice lay peacefully, snuggled with her ferret and oblivious of the approaching mutt pack and tribute. The ferret awoke before she did and scampered off safely into the trees. By the time ice awoke, it was far, far too late to scamper away safely. Tessa could feel the victory. It was so close she could almost taste it. I'm gonna win this she thought. She went right on thinking that until the rock slammed into the side of her head. ------- There are 6 surviving mutts. I reserve the right to cut the next cycle short as soon as I feel like I've gotten all the actions I'm going to get.

    Joe had been careful. He had found that the best way to survive in the hunger games was to keep your head down so people forgot about you. He'd made a bivouac underneath a bunch of pine trees that were really close together and feasted on a couple squirrels. He hadn't seen another tribute since the cornecopia. He was getting pretty confident. An arrow shot out the tree and clipped him in the back of the leg. Joe swore and scrambled away, but with an injured leg he couldn't get far before another arrow caught him between the shoulder blades. ----- Aaron was feeling tired. The games had taken its toll on him. He told himself that he'd keep watch for another hour, but his eyes were starting to droop. The mutts approaching awoke him. They made a terrifying sound. The howl combined with the moo sounded almost like human screaming. He reached down to grab a stick to beat them away, but he was too slow. There are 6 surviving muttations

    Melinda and dam snuggled up in the night. Dam had song a lullaby to her, and for the first time since this ordeal began, they both felt safe. A flash of silver came out of the night and struck Melinda in the chest. "NOOO!" Dam screamed. Leaping up. The sounds attracted hunters. More shapes came out of dark, several tributes and several mutts. The fight that followed left many tributes dead. Dam, Al and Eolloe all lay dead. sorry the write up isn't more. I'm tired. Just to be clear: Melinda died to knife attack. Dam died to mutts and tributes Eolloe and Al died to normal attacks FYI: If you defended and didn't get a PM, assume you had an uneventful night defending. There are 6 surviving mutts.

    The tributes all scattered, going their various ways. That night there was a massacre. Not of tributes, but of devil cows. The cannon fired several times anyway throughout the night. I decided to give you guys info on how they died. This isn't meant to convey who killed them at all, just the method of their death. Marge stumbled through the Forrest, fleeing. It had probably been a poor decision to light a fire. Someone had seen the flames and come looking, but she'd heard them approach and managed to get out of there, but now she was being pursued. She tripped over something, and looked back to see newan's body with a knife sticking out of it. why is his body still here she wondered I thought they removed bodies from the arena. There must be another tribute near. an arrow shot out of the trees and marge went down. Isana crawled through the brush, wary. She was fairly certain she was alone. Time to sleep...... She awoke to a grunt and looked up just in time to see another tribute leap on her. She tried to fight back, but the other tribute had gotten the jump on her and had a rock. She barely lasted thirty seconds. Niobe lay nestled high in the treetops. Certainly no one would find her here. She tied herself in, closed her eyes and feel asleep. She didn't hear the fellow tribute climb the tree or untie the rope around her. She did awaken to the sudden sensation of falling just in time to see the ground rush up. ------------ The following tributes names and faces appear in the sky at night: Isana Newan Marge Niobe There are 6 surviving muttations.

    Dale ran. He knew that he didn't have a chance at the cornecopia. He bent over and scooped up a large rock as he ran. After he got a couple hundred yards away, he ducked down, hiding in the tall grass. From there he crawled on his stomach until he couldn't go on any longer. The sun was setting. Dale popped his head up an looked around. No tributes in sight, but nearby a few cows grazed lazily. since any meal could be my lasthe thought, hefting his rock, might as well have steak ------------- Dale sat , enjoying his meal around his small fire. So many faces had appeared in the sky tonight. So many gone. Another cow approached, and dale looked up at it. He did a double take. This was no ordinary cow. It had the sharp teeth and keen eyes of a predator. Almost like it was part wolf. The animal leaped. A cannon fired. ----- The following tributes are now dead: Ashette Amet Mil Ceni Ingis Mato ------ The hunger games begin in earnest now! May the odds be ever in your favor! Edit: listed the wrong tribute as dead. Whoops Edit2: for those of you who are dead, I have provided a link to the spectator doc. This is a place where you can talk to other dead people or people who just wanted to observe the game. Edit3: there are 10 currently living wolf cows (I need a better name for them...)

    In answer to your question, multiple mutts can be killed in the same round.

    A muttation death does count as a death for purposes of dehydration. Also, as far as defending goes: if you spend the cycle defending you will be informed of whether or not you fought off an attack, but not of who tried to attack.

    Couple rules issues: firstly: who does and doesn't go for the cornecopia will not be revealed in the write up. Secondly, regarding PM alliances: if you try to open a PM with someone and they don't respond within 36 hours, assume the response to be a 'no'. PM that person that you're moving on. This won't count towards one of your three. Secondly, once a PM is open, you can't leave it in order to gain a new one. You can only have three PM conversations total through the whole game. If you have any questions about the rules, please ask so we can get it all sorted out. -peng
